Traditions

The traditions that guild workers had to go through were awful. One of the worse being the breeding program. The nation wanted to brag about having the smartest citizens. They already gave schools more money, offered lower taxes, and made more promises than any other kingdom to those who became a guild worker, researcher, inventor, or teacher. Unsurprisingly, that wasn't enough for them. They wanted to go further. To breed their geniuses. To make sure that each year more and more people are born with the superior memory and thinking time that the nations geniuses possess.

The breeding program affected a few teachers, researchers, and inventors, but it mostly affected the Guild Workers. Every single one of those was **** to engage in the program. Thanks to new developments in science, pregnancy only lasted 3 months and the birthing process was mostly harmless. As a result, guild workers were able to give birth every single year. The timing was always random. No one knew when the program would begin. Gina knew though that she was dreading the day she was **** into it.

That wasn't the only awful tradition though. There were plenty more. Since the kingdom was visited by millions of people from across the globe, there was a wide range of species in guilds. Meaning that there was a wide range of cultures as well. Each with their own holidays...And the guild workers had to keep track and participate in every single one. No matter how embarrassing it is.
