Chapter 5 by Xolodnik Xolodnik

Lakeside Date

The small boat gently rocked as Amara rowed them across the shimmering lake, the morning sun casting a warm golden glow on the water’s surface. The castle’s towering silhouette stood far behind them, swallowed by the dense forest beyond. When they reached a quiet cove, Amara steered toward a grassy shore, where wildflowers grew in colorful bursts among the blades of grass.

They climbed out and settled onto the soft grass, the cool dew clinging to their clothes. Kyle sat a little stiffly, still unsure about how this casual date would unfold, while Amara, graceful despite her advanced pregnancy, rested a hand on her rounded belly and let out a small sigh of contentment.

The soft breeze played with Amara’s long, wavy hair, the morning sunlight catching every golden strand. Her emerald-green dress clung to her body, accentuating her curves with a gentle but unmistakable pull. The fabric stretched tightly over her full breasts, pushing them together in a way that made them impossible to ignore. The swell of her pregnant belly only added to her natural allure, her silhouette soft, warm, and undeniably feminine.

Kyle found himself stealing glances, his mouth going dry more than once. It was hard not to be captivated by her, especially with her giant, milk-filled jugs straining against the fabric, so full and round, making it clear how much she had filled out since their last meeting. It was impossible not to be a little smitten.

“So, Kyle,” Amara began, her voice gentle but curious, “what’s the strangest thing you’ve seen in this world so far?”

Kyle blinked, his jaw parting slightly as his eyes drifted once more to the gentle curve of her belly, then to the graceful slope of her hips. He realized, with a quick jolt of embarrassment, that he’d been caught spacing out.

Amara caught the blank stare and smiled, but her eyes flickered with a hint of amusement and mild frustration. “You do realize I’m asking you a question, right?”

Kyle cleared his throat, cheeks coloring faintly. “Uh, yeah. Sorry. I guess I’m just... distracted.”

She sighed, a sound that seemed to be a bit out of melody of gentle rustling of the grass and the distant call of birds. “I can see why. I’m pretty hard to ignore, huh?”

“Yeah, you’ve got... well, you’re definitely... impressive,” Kyle said, stumbling over his words. “I mean, the whole pregnancy thing... it’s kind of amazing.”

Amara gave him a warning smile. “Thank you. I’m glad you can appreciate beauty.”

Kyle scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. “Well, to be honest, I’m not great at this whole ‘date’ thing. And your brother’s whole experiment has me a little on edge.”

Amara’s eyes softened, and she shifted slightly, letting her hand gently caress her belly. The fabric of her dress, light and flowing, strained slightly over her breasts, which moved subtly as she adjusted her posture. Kyle couldn’t help but notice the way the material clung to her curves, especially as she leaned forward just a little.

“Yeah, I only agreed to this because Alistair asked me to. He’s always so curious about everything... a little too curious sometimes.”

Kyle nodded, understanding. “I guess it makes sense. Family experiments and all.”

“Exactly,” she said with a slight shrug. “But honestly, I didn’t expect this to be all that interesting or engaging. I figured I’d be polite, ask a few questions, and then be done with it.”

As she leaned back, her long hair framed her face softly, and Kyle’s gaze wandered, drawn to the way her soft skin glowed under the sunlight. Her fingers moved slowly over her rounded belly in a loving caress, and Kyle couldn’t help but wish it was his tongue instead—licking her soft, sun-kissed skin.

Kyle frowned, suddenly realizing she was struggling to keep the conversation going, while he was too busy gawking. “Well, um... it’s actually quite alright, you know, me staring. It’s just... like, a conversation.” Kyle decided to stop himself before she throws him in the water.

Amara’s eyebrows lifted, and she glanced at him with a teasing glint in her eye. “You know, it’s actually quite charming how you just can’t look away.”

Kyle’s eyes went wide in panic. “Wait—no!” he stammered, before realizing what she said, “I mean, thank you. So, can I continue?”

But Amara laughed—a rich, genuine laugh that made Kyle’s heart skip a beat. She leaned back on the grass, stretching out comfortably. The sun warmed her skin, making it glisten as if her body was sculpted from light itself. Her curves seemed to ripple like waves, and the gentle curve of her belly and hips caught the light in a way that made her look like some goddess of the earth itself.

Her movements were hypnotic, so gentle and tender, that it almost seemed like the whole world had slowed down just for him to admire her. Then, Amara raised her arm to fix a strand of hair, and the motion exposed the soft curve of her underarm. Kyle’s throat went dry as the sight of her smooth, glistening skin, so close to him, made him wish he could taste every inch of it.

“You know,” she said softly, her voice a velvet whisper that sent a shiver down his spine, “I’m actually surprised. I think I’m enjoying this more than I expected.”

Kyle blinked, his heart racing as he was once again caught in the web of her unexpected allure. His eyes were still wide, trapped in the delicate dream of her presence.

She laughed again, and the two of them sat there in companionable silence for a moment, the soft breeze carrying the scent of wildflowers and the gentle lap of water against the shore.

Kyle’s eyes wandered once more, blank and fascinated, but this time Amara didn’t mind at all.
