As John walked away, he knew that his actions at the start of this adventure were too grotesque to warrant him having the freedom he fought for, not when he risked this new world and spread the infamous zombie virus, which was just as infectious and infamously lucky as all the zombie viruses in myths and stories. John thought he deserved a fresh start, that he had given enough for Limbo Town, but if this was the extent of his caring side, he should've just stayed in Limbo Town and died, especially since he realised far too late that he was even infected. For him to be alive after killing all these people was too harsh, so he awaited the town's end as it burned down, hoping it took him with it.
