Chloe joins him

"Brandon where are you going?"

"To the cabin to check on Ash."

"Do you mind if I join you?" Chloe asked. While she enjoyed Kurt's attention she needed a break. Seeing Brandon take off provided a safe opportunity to escape. She figured Kurt wouldn't dare to be the puppy dog in that situation.

"No problem, I'll walk you up," Brandon said, smiling at the busty redhead.

Despite his verbal chivalry Brandon raced back up to the cabin at a faster pace than Chloe, nearly leaving her behind.

"AHHH!!!" Chloe screamed as she tripped over a root. Brandon quickly turned back to her. He kneeled down in the dirt and felt around her ankle. Chloe had never thought much about the dark haired, dark eyed Adonis now inspecting her Achilles heel, but his touch felt so good.

"I don't think it's broken, but maybe I better carry you up the rest of the way to be sure"

Chloe nodded without saying a word. Brandon scooped her up in his arms and carried her the rest of the way to the cabin. She had never felt so good, so safe as she felt with the football player's arms around her.
