Kai grinned when he saw the messages in the morning, his targets were rapidly getting used to the quests, but their new classes kept the XP rewards higher than ever.

“Seventeen points in just one night, that must be a new high score.” Kai said with a smile, taking a moment to check his perk tree. “Since I want to make Luke go shopping with me, I should probably take something like Reward designer II, that would open much more customization options, and with my parasite class, giving them better perks means getting better perks.”

“On the other hand… Quest Designer II and Daily Quests I seem like good ways of getting more points…” Kai stared at the screen in silence before making up his mind and purchasing Dailly quest I, determined to put it to the test.

Daily quest I [2 PP]: You can give each of your targets a repeatable quest that will be available at the same hour every day. This quest must have the same reward each time, and will always award 3 XP (plus class affinity bonuses if the quest is class related). Once a daily quest is given, the Quest Master must wait at least 96 hours to change it.

Daily quest [target: Vanessa Stein]: Daily client goal.

Description: Satisfy at least ten different clients today.

Reward: + 250$

Unsurprisingly, Kai couldn’t raise the reward nearly as much as with regular quests. “Something like this would probably be around 750 bucks, maybe even a grand…”

“Who cares, this should be worth seven extra XP thanks to the class bonus, and I don’t have to think of new and harder quests each day.”

“And with that! My two quest debt is done!” Kai smiled happily, already planning his next step with Jack. “I should get him a couple of good skills to borrow, so probably a gym trip is in order…”

Kai scratched his chin, thinking for a moment. “I can upgrade domination using two of his perk points, and according to the perk tree, respected businessman II will unlock fairly good perks to copy in the future…”

Having chosen what to do with Jack, Kai finally decided to pay attention to Luke.

Description: Good pet boys should wear something cutter than what your current wardrobe can provide. Ask Kai to go shopping with you this afternoon, remember to tell him you want to buy CUTE clothes.

Kai clicked his tongue slightly, he wanted to give Luke a more powerful perk, unfortunately the quest was considered too easy for that, and adding the requirement of actually going to the date would mess up with his quest timings.

“Who cares, I can upgrade this perk later, be it by another quest or with points.” Kai said before checking his profile, clearing a couple of the skills he had just copied.

Once in class, Kai was somewhat surprised to not see Luke there already, his friend had a tendency to be on time, especially in the higher course subjects.

“Morning Kai…” Luke greeted him sleepily as he sat down next to him.

“Damm, are you back on your late night gaming sessions again?” Kai teased, clearly surprised to see his friend barely holding his eyes open.

“No… I umm… Slept too well.” Luke said, blushing slightly. “I feel like I’m suddenly catching up with years of accumulated fatigue…”

Kai stared at him for a moment before grinning mischievously. “So… that pushie of yours is a good sleeping aid?”

Luke suddenly opened his eyes and stared at Kai in a mixture of shock and horror.

“You know… if what you need to sleep are some good cuddles… I can happily provide.” He added with a teasing smile.

“Shut up!” Luke said, now blushing visibly, hiding his face between his hands.

“Ok, ok, sorry…” Kai apologised, taking out his notes before adding. “Got any plans for the afternoon? Mind some anime?”

Luke was about to shake his head when he remembered the quest. “Actually… I was thinking about expanding my wardrobe a bit… care to join?”

Kai raised his eyebrow feigning ignorance before replying. “Sure, why not? I might get a new shirt or two. Any style you are looking for in particular?”

Luke stayed silent for a moment, before adding in almost a whisper. “Cute clothes…”

Kai blinked a couple of times before letting out a soft chuckle. “Ok, I’m definitively going with you. I am not missing this.”

Kai clicked his tongue when he saw the notifications, this was far from ideal. “Vanessa is too comfortable with exhibitionism to get points just from that. Buying **** is not related to being a pimp, and Luke is apparently quite comfortable doing cute things now…”

This time he had just gotten enough for a level up, but it was clear he needed to up the quests for his targets.

Kai stared at his phone and clicked his tongue, cursing silently. There weren't many good rewards he could give, mostly because this quest was, effectively, a “rest quest”

“Actually, this is a great chance to test the randomizer.”

Kai’s eye twitched when he saw the third reward “That was an option!?!?!?”

The first and second options were almost worthless, he was planning on paying for everything, and thanks to Jack he didn’t have money problems. At the same time he doubted he could love Luke more, and if he could, it would be the difference between a million and a million and ten, so…

But the third one… the third one!!!

That was effectively offering him to end the date sleeping together!!!

Kai clicked the third option without hesitation, impatiently wishing for their classes to be over.
