You think about the the first woman you bedded, the wife whose name is Mio; you found out her name later because it's embarrassing not knowing the name of a woman you fucked. The thought then strays to the women you meet at the council meeting.

There is also the matter of the burgeoning "Red Light" district near the far pier. While the thrill of the yobai lies in the status and the "stealth" of the conquest, there is a different kind of freedom to be found with a professional. To visit a high-end prostitute, to pay for the right to use her body completely without any pretense of romance or future responsibility, has its own dark appeal. While many of those women would have developed some aversion to emotional intimacy after peddling their bodies for so long, their maternal instinct may still be awakened once they found out that they have been seeded.
