Brandon takes notice of Kurt as well, and Ashley's interest in Zack

The first half an hour went by very quickly once everyone had made it to the lake, and it seemed like most of the teenagers were fully content with just swimming around and chatting in the warm, crystal clear water until it was time for lunch.

That's when Brandon started realizing that he wasn't alone in checking out all the naked flesh in the water though, as he could tell that even his lovely girlfriend seemed somewhat distracted every now and then.

The young man wasn't really used to having any kind of competition for Ashley's attention, and so he wasn't sure of how to react when he found her chatting away with Heather's talkative cousin. He'd seen his fair share of that kind of guys though, to know for sure that Kurt was up to no good, and that his own lively blonde girlfriend always had a soft spot for the kind of flattering that the older guy was literally showering upon every girl that he talked to.

Ashley could hardly be blamed for enjoying the company though, as the guy was as handsome as he was direct in his approach, and Brandon felt a deep pang of jealousy welling up in his chest as he noticed the look on his girlfriend's pretty face whenever she spoke to him.

Her eyes weren't only for Kurt however, but often drifted off towards Zachary as well when the two of them happened to get close to one another. Those two had a kind of relation to one another that Brandon had never been fully sure about, as he only knew that their sisters had been best friends for ages, but still she denied that they'd ever met outside of school. It sometimes made him feel like she was hiding something about their past, and especially at a time like this when she couldn't keep her eyes off the handsome young man...

Brandon had to admit that he mostly had himself to blame though, as his own attention had been drawn to Heather, Vicky and Chloe since they joined them by the lake, and it felt like he owed his girlfriend this chance to hand it right back at him.

Still it vexed him of course, but there was really nothing he could do but try and make her know for sure that his affection for her was as true today as any other...
