You continue through the crevasse and head deeper into the cliff. It is just a small passage, but once you got though, you entered the cave proper. This cave is huge. You imagine that a very long time ago, in the age of legends, some titan must have come here and carved a hole in the Cliffside. It is made up of a huge empty space able to fit a couple of small ships. The sea rolled into the open cave, giving direct access to the open waters.

There is a small path along the inside of the cave where people could walk. You head along this path and come across many sleeping or bored pirates. They either don’t notice you or don’t want to notice you.
Such a lazy bunch. In the abbey, even the youngest novice always had something to do. It could be cooking, cleaning, taking care of the horses, learning scripture, or even engaging in prayer. There was never a dull moment. After all, idle hands are a virgin’s worst enemy.

You may not be very knowledgeable about pirates, but you do know the ship is their base of operations, and the captain leads the ship. If you are to find that captain of theirs anywhere, you best start searching their ship.

You enter the brig and find it deserted. There aren’t any pirates on deck, and once you enter the ship proper, you don’t find any either. It is eerily quiet on this boat.
Eventually you find the captain’s quarters. The door stood half open so you could look inside and see what kind of man he was.
He was tall, black, and athletically build. You breathe a sigh of relief. If he had been muscled, you might not be able to take him on. But no, you believe you were capable of dealing with him. But would fighting really be the best option against him? Maybe you could continue the charade of yourself as a pirate and catch him off-guard.
