Second times the charm

You started from the beginning as you had done last time. Knowing that the recording was out of the way gave you some confidence to repeat the same story you gave last time.

Sarah seemed to show the same expressions she did when you told her the same details last time and nothing about the recording seemed to change how she reacted for the most part.

When you got to explaining her part in the story and you showed her your phone to display her profile and the effects of her kink, she seemed almost eager to see what was there.

She stared down at your phone for a while before handing it back, trying hard to contain a smile that still managed to make her lip curl up. You let her think she got away with it though and Emma didn’t comment on it either. You could tell that Emma noticed though, some of the tension leaving her as she took it as a good sign of Sarah’s acceptance.

“Can I see the other profiles?” Sarah asked, a question you hadn’t considered up until this point.

Last time, you were in a rush, and only showed her her own profile in the heat of the moment. But now that you had more time, you questioned what would be the right thing to do. While you thought about it, you gave a half answer to buy yourself some time.

“Well it’s partly up to Emma if she’s happy to show you hers” you replied, handing Sarah over to Emma.

“Oh, yeah sure” Emma replied, moving closer to Sarah so they could sit side by side while she shared the details.

Emma seemed happy to provide and it felt almost like a strange bonding moment between the two, as if this was a secret that Emma hadn’t wanted to keep from her.

And it did give you time to think. When you told Emma, everything sort of spilled out and it felt like you were finding someone to share your secret with. With Sarah, your first thought had been to reveal everything, but now that she had asked, it was almost as if you were made aware of other people’s privacy.

Again, as you had been doing a lot recently, you decided to just go through the truth and your thought process with both of them.

“I hadn’t really thought about whether I should show you the other profiles. I just planned on showing you everything. I can tell you who is on there at least. I guess it also depends on if you would want other people to see your profile if I was to show them the truth” you explained, another thought popping into your head as you went to list who was on the KDK.

Everyone Sarah would know was fine to mention, as were the 3 randoms you had added during your trip. But explaining your Father as an NPG and Izzy felt like something you should consider more carefully.

Emma seemed to catch your look of worry and took a second to figure out what your issue was. You could almost see her train of thought as she went through the list of subjects, her eyebrows raising as she caught up to your predicament.

Sarah seemed none the wiser as you both came back into the room, continuing your train of thought with Sarah from earlier.

“So yeah, if you are happy with other people seeing your profile when the time comes, I think that makes it a bit more fair for you to see there’s” you added, feeling like making a personal sacrifice first was a reasonable cost to see other people’s details.

Sarah nodded in agreement at that new rule and she spoke pretty quickly as if making a decision.

“Sure that’s fine with me. Well I guess if this is all real then I’ll figure out telling someone at the time…How do you navigate this thing” she replied, not seeming to take it as seriously as you expected.

She went to try and swipe on the phone but Emma pulled it away from her giving her a look that almost showed disappointment.

You didn’t exactly blame Sarah for not being 100% on board after no real evidence, but Emma seemed to take it as more of a slight than you had expected.

“Hey! You need to take this seriously” Emma said defensively, shocking even Sarah at her tone shift.

“I am! It’s just… you can’t expect me to believe this right away…Right? I mean this is insane. Even if you did somehow get me to forget that recording, it doesn’t prove that any of this other stuff is really real.

Emma passed you back your phone while Sarah was talking and even if it was no longer the current concern, you made sure Izzy was no longer on the same menu as the rest of the core group, switching her out so that if Sarah saw the name, she wouldn’t see it as anyone important.

It did also give you a chance to review Sarah’s profile and any of the others to see if there was a quicker way of getting Sarah the evidence she wanted.

Your first thought was making Emma strip and then go invisible, having her touch Sarah’s arm out of nowhere to show that was something she could do. But you hadn’t fully tested out what the KDK did when Emma was spotted, having never been able to test it before with just the two of you.

Before your brain did get sidetracked with all the testing you could now do, you carried on scanning the active and passive effect that best suited this sort of activity.
