Avoid fighting if possible

"Alright, I’ll hide us if we encounter anything." The succubus assures you and the three of you resume walking through the forest.

Soon you hear the goblins, and shortly after that see the first two of them. They are headed to your right and seem to be in a rush, though you can only guess why that might be. Six of them pass without incident, but then your heart skips a beat as one of the goblins looks directly at where the three of you are… and then continues without any indication that he had seen something out of the ordinary.

A few more of the goblins look in your general direction, but do not react, as if the three of you are not there at all. Soon they are all out of sight, but you remain quiet and uumoving, waiting for the succubus to say that it is safe.

"They’re gone. We’re safe now." Xallia finally says after about a minute of silence.

"Based on what I heard it was a group of 20 to 30 goblins. I’m surprised you heard them before me." Glenda says as she looks at the succubus with confusion in her eyes.

"I didn’t hear them." The purple-skinned woman admits as she looks at the elf. "I sensed their life ****. It’s one of my abilities."

"You can sense the life **** of living creatures, even if you can’t see or hear them? This will prove useful…" You say as you look at the daemoness.

"Indeed. So, did I do well, Sabine?" Xallia asks as she focuses her attention on you.

"Huh?... Yes, you did well." You say, unsure where this is going.

"So… can I get a small reward? Something to encourage me to do well in the future." Xallia looks at you and licks her lips.

"Reward? What kind of reward, exactly?" You ask warily, suddenly remembering that you’re dealing with a daemoness.

"Just a kiss, that’s all."

"A kiss? You want me to kiss you? Here?" You ask as you blush once more.

"Yes, just a single kiss before we resume our trip. That’s not too much to ask for, is it?"

"Well, I…" You look at the succubus and hesitate. It’s true that she helped you avoid the goblins and rewarding her will help ensure her loyalty, at least for the time being. But she is still a daemon…
