Head towards the Blauwalt Forest

Climbing the cliffs behind you seems an almost impossible task and even if you could do it you would practically be back on the abbey grounds. You have **** but follow the beach.

"Let’s head this way. It should bring us to Blauwalt Forest." You say as you start walking. Your companions follow without objection.

The three of you walk in silence along the thin strip of beach, attempting to get past the cliffs and reach the Victory Road towards Gerlangen. As you walk you try to think about the journey ahead of you but quickly realize that you simply don’t have enough information. While you have heard about each of the possible roads, that’s just not the same as traveling them yourself. What’s more, none of your lessons prepared you for traveling in the company of a succubus. Bringing Xallia along may prove to be a great help… or a terrible mistake. You hope it is the former.

After about an hour Glenda interrupts the silence. "There should be a small lagoon somewhere on the cliffside. How strange that we haven’t discovered it yet."

"Maybe it is in the opposite direction." Xallia suggests.

"That might be, but it’s too late for us to turn back now." You tell them as you continue to walk towards your destination.

After a few more hours, the three of you finally come at the end of the cliffs. You leave the beach, head over a few dunes, and then you reach a forest. The Blauwalt Forest straddles the Victory Road, the very road you need to follow in order to reach the city of Gerlangen. Just one problem: Where in the forest is this road?

At any rate, you’d have to start your search somewhere. The three of you spread out and start walking in search of the road that will lead you to your destination.

It isn’t easy crossing the forest barefooted. There are lots of twigs that prick you when you step on them, or fallen leaves that are slick and make you slip. You can’t wait until you reach the road.

"Wait." Xallia calls. You stop and turn towards her.

"Something wrong?" Asks Glenda as she too looks at the succubus.

"I think I noticed something. Give me a moment." The purple-skinned woman says. She takes a couple of steps away from you and leans down to examine something on the forest floor. What do you think we should do in such a case? We could try to fight them, or I could use a spell to hide us, but we’ll need to stay still and quiet until they pass. It’s your call, Sabine."
