Not so fast...

Just as you thought you were away, your blind turn out of the front gate met with a solid ****, knocking you to the ground. As you looked up in a daze, dread washed over you as the familiar face of your friend James came into focus.

"What's this then?" snarled James with a scowl, clearly upset with you. "You a thief or something?" he asked, reaching down to grip your wrist tightly and yank you to your feet.

You vaguely noted the shopping bag he carried - he must have gone out for breakfast supplies, damn it. James was usually the last one of your friends to do anything useful like that, however he was always the first to initiate trouble, especially with girls.

As you squirmed in James' grip he growled angrily. "Answer me bitch! Or do I have to drag you inside and **** a confession out of you?"

Knowing what James was like, you knew you had to say something, but what? Quick to anger with a sadistic streak, he was the last of your friends you would have wanted to catch you, but there was nothing you could do about it now. You had to explain, somehow...
