"Hey, the girls are unaware, so..."

She deadpans. "You want me to play make believe with your anime sex toys?"

"... in so many words."

The hacker sighs, "just turn it on."

You nod and give the activation code. You watch the personality AI take over Starfire's body. Her eyes brighten and her body relaxes into a more realistic posture.

"Hn, Where am I? What has happened to Raven and me?" You put a hand on Star's shoulder to keep her from panicing.

"It's okay, you're safe now. Raven's here too. I just need you to tell me what you remember"

"Okay, she turned on." the hacker excused herself to start work on Jinx.

Starfire relaxes into your touch. "Raven and I were tracking the villain Jinx. She was last seen in this area and we thought that one of the local residents might have been taken captive."

You frown, "Hm, I thought it might be something like that." You take her hand and pull her along while you explain your scenario. "Someone had you and Raven under some sort of mind control. I think they were trying to round up people with superpowers since you were trying to take Jinx away. We managed to get you under control, and my friend just cleaned out any orders you might've had. It should be okay now."

If the story's too far fetched for even a Titan to believe, seeing the dormant Raven-bot is enough proof for Starfire. "This is not okay!" She screams, "A villain is controlling Raven like one of Beast-boy's television games!"

"Don't worry, She's only going to be like that for a few hours more. Once my friend cleans out any programming, she'll be back to normal and you to can go off on your crime-fighting way."

"But what about you?" Out of worry, the alien grabs your hands and laces your fingers with hers, "Will these mind-washers not be angry that you freed us? You will need to stay safe till we bring them to justice!"

"Woah, don't go rushing into things!" You hold on to her to make sure she doesn't fly off half-cocked. "These guys already got the better of you once, and who knows how many other heroes and villains they have at their disposal. If we're going to fight them, we need a plan first."

It takes a moment for your words to set in before Star, grinning like an idiot, wraps you in a near-bone-breaking, floating hug. "Oh, you'll help us rescue everyone? This is glorious!" She loosens her grip a bit and nuzzles her head into your chest, giggling occasionally.
