An awkward morning before the return hike

Breakfast was a strained affair at the cabin occupied by the Rivera’s. Zachary avoided looking at everywhere but his toast and glass of orange juice, Lisa’s words from the previous night still echoing in his mind.

He remembered his talk with Victoria back at the cave, when he told her that he thought it was unfair to get involved with Heather or her before he worked out in his mind which one of the two he truly wanted. Lisa’s accusation of playing with her feelings and her ominous advice for him to stop himself before he could hurt Victoria or Heather too only worsened his situation.

“What if I go for one of them and later I find out that I wanted the other?” Zack mused. If he had doubts before, now his head became a giant mess of confusion.

And that was without mentioning the accursed sexy pictures of Chloe that Kurt had sent him. Those pictures seriously disturbed Zack, he considered Chloe a sister, exactly as he saw his blood sister Taylor. He couldn’t bring himself to see the pictures again after the first time and deleted all of them from his phone. At least that way he figured he had a chance to forget what he saw.

Across the table, Lisa still was very pissed off with Zack, but now it had receded to just a small portion from the anger she felt the previous night. The raven-haired girl could see now that she had been a bit too harsh with Zack, but at the same time Lisa figured that her ex-boyfriend needed to hear the words she threw at him if he wanted to have a chance of being happy with either Victoria or Heather. “He has to pick one of them soon, before the choice consumes him and he can’t make one.” She sighed.

Chloe and Gavin weren’t too much different, although for a whole different reason. Shy as he was, Gavin wasn’t able to tap into that confident side of his again, making it impossible for him to tell Chloe that he enjoyed the previous night greatly. As for the redhead, her mind was a rollercoaster of thoughts and emotions ever since she slipped quietly from Gavin’s bed that morning. She never had considered her two closest friends as potential sexual partners, but now she couldn’t get the incredible feeling of Gavin’s tongue and the sight of Zack’s long penis out of her brain, especially the former.

“Does that mean that I want him as more than a friend? It was a pretty awesome orgasm,” Chloe mused, unsure. “But I don’t know, I don’t want to mess up our friendship. I’m not even sure of what I want!”

Zack was the first to finish eating, so he excused himself and retreated to Gavin’s room, where he had left his backpack. They would have to go back to Ravers’ Cabin now. The blue-eyed boy sighed as he proceeded to check the pack for missing objects. “With all that happened, I can safely say that I can’t wait to go back,” He thought. ”I couldn’t even look at Lisa’s face today.”

The three of them had already showered before eating, so all that was left was deciding how they would go. Zack was a little **** in calling Jennifer to take them back, since they already had bothered her for a good chunk of the previous day, but he knew that if Gavin felt he couldn’t make the return hike, they wouldn’t have a choice.

That was the decision he left up to his friend when they were all ready to go at the entrance of the cabin.

“So, Gavin,” Zack said. “Can you walk all the way back? I think it’ll take us about two hours to get back to Silver Lake, since we have to take it slow and all.”
