Chapter 7 by Silent Goddess Silent Goddess

What Kind of Clothes?

Not What He Was Hoping

June followed Lyric to her room across the hall, it looked like his, just with two beds, and a few more boxes and bags.

“I hope you don’t mind, I don’t really have a whole lot of neutral looking clothing,” She said, pulling two dufflebags out of a box that didn’t look big enough to hold either of them. Lyric dumped them both out onto her bed, giving June a sight of a variety of girly clothes, lingerie, a fleshlight, and a tentacle dildo longer and thicker than his arm. June’s face went hot with embarrassment, to his surprise Lyric didn’t even acknowledge the two sextoys, she just started going through her clothes, even moving the tentacle at one point to get a pair of panties out from under it.

At one point she turned and saw how pink his face was.

“Is something wrong? Your face looks red.”

“Huh? Oh, it’s nothing,” he said, unable to look away from the tentacle.

Lyric followed his gaze to it, “Oh, did you want to borrow it?”

“What?” June’s eyes went wide and his face redder.

She picked it up and offered it to him.

“Just clean it after you’re done.”

At that moment Maya came into the room and saw June sputtering as Lyric offered him the massive sex toy.

“Oh Lyric, most humans are really nervous about sex, I don’t think he wants it he’s probably just embarrassed.”

“Oh my goddess, I am so sorry June,” She tossed the tentacle back onto the bed, it landed with a truly intimidating thud, “I haven’t ever met a human before I wasn’t aware you were scared of sex.”

“Wha- I-,” he sputtered, finally getting his mouth to work, “I’m not scared of sex,” his voice came out squeakier than he had intended, he cleared his throat, “It’s just that sex is kind of a private subject on earth, and we don’t usually share giant- err, sex toys.”

Maya chuckled sweetly as she walked over.

“You are private about sex? Why?” Lyric asked, genuine curiosity in her voice.

“I’m not really sure, we just are,” June felt like the room was getting hotter.

“That’s weird. Sorry, that was impolite, I shouldn’t judge your culture, I’m sure there’s a reason behind it.”

“Out of curiosity,” Maya asked, squatting down so her face was closer to level with the two, “June, did you know about magic before tonight?”

His face was still burning from the sex talk, the sudden 180 to the fact that he didn’t know about magic didn’t help temper his embarrassment any.

“Uhhh, no, no magic on earth, just humans. To be honest, I’m still not sure if I’m actually just dreaming right now.”

“Just humans?” Lyric asked, a shocked look on her face.

“There are others there,” Maya said, “but humans on earth think it’s just humans, I visited once when I was younger, it’s a strange place.”

“It’s not just humans there!?” June asked, suddenly questioning every fairytale he had ever heard.

“Hey,” Natalie’s voice came from the doorway, “Takeout just got here, come down and eat when you want,” her voice was a bit raspy, and even though she was wearing a veil June couldn’t help but feel like she was staring at him.

“Thank you Natalie,” Maya said, standing to her full height again, and turning for the door.

“We’ll be down in a moment, thanks Nat,” Lyric said.

“Yeah, thank you.” June added.

“Of course,” she said, lingering a moment longer before turning and leaving the room.

Lyric turned back to the bed, scooped up a pile of clothes that she had picked out, along with a few things she had just grabbed at random, and handed it over to June.

“Here you go, I made sure you had at least a few days worth of outfits, and the rest you can just use as you see fit to add into your wardrobe. Don’t worry about giving any of it back, I’ve been wanting to go shopping for some new outfits anyways.”

“Thanks,” June said, “I’ll drop this in my room, then meet you downstairs?”

“Sounds good!”
