Oops, Friendly Fire!
Deciding to employ some cunning, you quickly move to the left, circling around as the wizard spins, gathering the orange energy before unleashing a fire bolt…right into the back of the Fighter sending him sprawling.

“What the hell man!”
“Shit sorry! This one’s quick!”
“Fox! You’re supposed to be the quick rogue, deal with this one!”
“You know what asshole, you deal with him! It’s just one runt.”
While they were busy arguing, you had slowly closed the distance to the wizard, so that when he turned back to you, you were already there, lunging forward!
“Fuck!”

As you drive the dagger into the wizard’s sternum, you feel the sickening squelch as he crumples. DING!

Kneeling on his form, you look around. Without the backline, the others were slowly being overwhelmed. The fighter was struggling against one of the runts sitting on his back, whacking him, the paladin was fending off two more, and the rogue was sitting on a rock catcalling the other two.
“C’mon, I’ve seen grandmas get up faster than that!”
“You really going to let the lowest of the low get to you?”
Who do you target next?
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
