All That Could Have Been

Nayo led them through a dirty, cramped alleyway towards some fake IDs to get them topside. Nayo was a motormouth, and Yuffie was more interested in amateurish flirting with Sonon. It was rare to see a masculine Wutaiian in this day and age, Yuffie thought wistfully. She shook her head. Focus, Yuffie.

"So what was that on the news about a reactor blowin' up and all?" Yuffie asked.

"Shh," Nayo said, chewing the inside of her cheek. She nodded at a bar ahead. "Splinter cell. Left AVALANCHE after a 'policy dispute.'"

Yuffie could hear them up ahead. There was a giant Black man, his chiseled frame causing Yuffie to gape. Next to him was a total smokeshow. By the staircase was a slender, wiry man with a red bandanna.

"Look who it is...lovin' your work. How many reactors is that? Wait ... where's Cloud?" the slender man asked.

"We lost him," the Black man replied.

"He'll be okay though," the smokeshow said firmly.

"By the way ... Don Corneo has his goons looking for you ..." the slender man said worriedly.

Yuffie heard another pair off to her left.

"Mmm, when that merc gets back I'm gonna feed him pizza and pussy ... and drain those nuts in my womb," a tight bodied girl with reddish brown hair tied back in a tight ponytail said excitedly.

"I dunno, Jessie...I don't know if he's wired that way," the fattest man Yuffie had ever seen replied skeptically.

"He will cum ...and if he isn't, you'd help a girl out with that big fuckstick, right Wedge?" Jessie replied saucily. These people might be worse than in Wutai, Yuffie thought grimly. She shook her head again.

"So should we say hi to these badasses?" Yuffie asked. Sonon shook his head.

"After what they've done, you have to assume Shinra is hot on their tail," he said, while Nayo nodded. Yuffie sighed. That Black man ... she bet he was packing.
