Sonon

This wasn't the crew that bombed the reactors, Yuffie learned to her disappointment. That was a splinter group. This was Nayo, Polk, and ... Billy Bob? Total B-teamers. She just hoped they could help an elite Wutai operative obtain that ultimate Materia from Shinra's headquarters.

She had to tease the information out of them too. From talking to Nayo, Yuffie could assume the Materia would be in the basement. From Billy Bob, Yuffie learned that the Shinra building was the gigantic skyscraper that could be seen for dozens of miles away as she hiked in. Duh, Yuffie thought, aggravated at the lack of professionalism and dedication. And Polk's great idea was to lay low and wait for things to quiet down before infiltrating the building.

And then Sonon arrived. Most of Wutai's men were ladyboys now, to be sure. But not Sonon. Sonon was a real men, an oasis in the desert of Wutaiian masculinity. He was reliable, and hot. She'd heard a lot about him, but this was her first time seeing him in the flesh.

"What took you so long?" Yuffie shouted, pointing at him.

"Sorry about that," Sonon said, pushing back his spiky dark hair. "You're nothing like your old man. Anyway, nice to meet you. I'm Sonon Kusakabe. I was lucky enough to learn to fight from G-"

"Yeah, I don't wanna talk about him," Yuffie said, flustered. "Nayo said you've been enjoying your time here, indulging in 'adult' pasttimes." Nayo protested, but Yuffie ignored her. "I can do adult stuff just fine, you know!" Yuffie flushed.

"Well, I don't know how to respond to that ... but men have needs, Yuffie. So if you're down ..." he winked, and Yuffie was left speechless for once.
