Buffy is that you

Ok, enough funny business, Xander told himself. It was time to use this odd gift from the gods to solve some of the problems the Scoobies were facing.

There was only one problem that immediately sprang to mind as the most important problem that the Rulebook would be good to solve. The fact that Buffy was missing and the Scoobs were no closer to finding her. The things that had driven her to runaway were resolved for the most part. The cops weren't after her anymore. Joyce regretted everything she said and had changed her mind the day after she said it.

The new school year was worryingly close and with it the usual barrage of Vampires, Demons and assorted life threatening weirdness. And no Slayer to counter them was bad.

So the first question that needed answering was where was Buffy and what was she up to. Xander knew she was alive. She had to be. She was Buffy. Surely she was out there somewhere saving somebody who needed saving, like the superhero she was.

NEW RULE: I know where Buffy is and what she has been up to since she ran away from Sunnydale.

"Huh." Xander sat back and processed what he had just learned. Buffy was apparently doing nothing. Well, not nothing but... close enough. She wasnt slaying, she wasnt saving lives. She was just... barely existing as a waitress named Anne. Just living a depressing life, moping, and generally being as un-Buffy as possible.

She had even turned away from helping people once or twice. Xander was more than a little angry about that. She'd had the chance to help people and turned away, to go back to her crappy rented room stare at a wall and wallow in depressed misery.

Xander shook his head, "Unh - uh, this will not stand. I gotta do something."

Grabbing his pencil he started to think about what Buffy deserved.
