face the slime boss

The slime boss swung his whip at the bear druid, who dodged the blow. Rock splinters erupted from the ground as the whip struck him.

The bear tried to charge, but the slime took flight, making him impervious to the bear.

Luli: I think your friend is in trouble.

Druid: Actually... he's at a bit of a disadvantage, but he's fighting for his love, so it would be insulting if we intervened without him asking.

Luli: I'd call him a proud guy if I hadn't seen how much he enjoyed Angela's whipping.

Druid: Well, in a way, being able to take a hit is a manly thing.

Luli: Not in his way.

Druid: I never said otherwise.

Sylnohir drank a potion, healing herself a little. She watched the scene undecidedly. On the one hand, she didn't want to harm the slime; she wasn't a supporter of **** when you could choose love. On the other hand, Angela could suffocate inside the slime, and she liked the champion. She decided to see if Angela could get out on her own before intervening.

From inside the slime, Angela tried to pop her head out to breathe. The sound of multiple dice rolls (one for Angela, three for the slimes) was heard.

Results: Angela 15, Slime 1 2, Slime 2 3, Slime 3 19.

Angela managed to pop her head out for a few seconds and take a couple of breaths.

Boss Slime: Wife, stay inside! I'll protect you!

With his hand, he pushed Angela's head back in without giving her time to respond.

The bear showed a furious expression! The slime was trying to steal the woman he was courting!

The boss slime summons a sacred hammer with the spiritual weapon spell.

Luli: Wait, isn't that the spell Akari used at the beginning?

The sword swings to strike the bear, which suffers a grazing wound.

Druid: Can that jelly mimic the attacks of anyone it touches? At this point, we have ****, my bro will be overwhelmed at this rate!

The druid begins to run to his companion's aid. He casts an animal summoner, and eight crows appear, attacking the hammer summoned by the boss slime to prevent it from moving.

The bear druid takes advantage of this and strikes the flying weapon with a powerful swipe, shattering it and dissipating it.

Luli uses all her movement to get close to the slime.

Sylnohir gets back to his feet and then screams.

Sylnohir: Angela, you have to get out of there! I know it's beautiful in there, but I'm afraid I'll stab you if I try to hit the slime, and not in a good way!

New round!

The boss slime emits a thunder wave, hitting the crows and the bear druid. The crows dissipate, and the bear druid transforms back into a loincloth-clad human after his oesque form is defeated.

Sylnohir: That's my spell! I haven't even used it yet!

The druid next to Luli casts produce flame against the slime; the slime dodges.

The druid in love casts jump and starts running toward the slime!

Luli draws her daggers and gets under the slime.

Sylnohir uses thunder wave...the ceiling and the slime take damage, some rubble falls, Luli dodges, and the slime and Angela take some damage.

Luli: Sylnohir, be careful!

Sylnohir: I didn't think I'd hit the ceiling, sorry!

Angela pulls to free herself! (angela 12, slime1 1, slime2 17, slime3 15)

Angela gets trapped inside the boss slime.

The boss slime, seeing himself hunted by many opponents, flees into the depths of the cave.

Druid in love: No! You bastard monster, I won't let you take my owner away!

The druid in love starts chasing her, followed by the rest of the party (minus Akari and the druid, who are still busy a passage behind).
