Emperor Erik

Day Four – The World Kneels in Iron Silence

**Tokyo, 04:00 a.m.**

The city no longer sleeps; it *vibrates*. Every steel beam, every subway rail, every vending machine hums at 60 Hz: the heartbeat of Magneto’s empire.

  1. The Global Surrender

CNN Headquarters, Atlanta: The live feed cuts to black. When it returns, the anchor’s microphone is twisted into a Möbius strip. A single line scrolls across every screen on Earth:

“Emperor Erik Lehnsherr speaks at 08:00 JST. Do not adjust your reality.”

  • The Pentagon: Satellite imagery shows the entire JSDF fleet anchored in Tokyo Bay, upside-down, hulls kissing the sky. No missiles fired. No pilots ejected. The ships simply *obeyed*.

  • United Nations, New York: Emergency session. The Japanese delegate stands, bows, and places a small iron origami crane on the table.

“His Imperial Majesty has dissolved our government. Resistance is… mathematically impossible.”

The crane *melts* into the mahogany, spelling “DAY 4” in molten kanji.

    1. The X-Men – Powerless

A blackbird cloaked in Cerebro-static shielding lands on a rooftop in Shibuya. The hatch opens.

  • Professor X wheels out, sweat beading on his temples.

“Erik’s mind is a Faraday cage now. I can’t even hear Japan.”

  • Wolverine snikts his claws; they bend like licorice the moment they leave his knuckles.

“Metal’s got a mind of its own, Chuck. Smells like him.”

  • Storm summons lightning. The bolt curves mid-air, spelling 「服従」 (submission) in the clouds before grounding harmlessly into a pachinko parlor.

  • Cyclops fires an optic blast at a distant billboard of Magneto. The ruby beam reflects back, carving **“HELLO SCOTT”** into the rooftop gravel.

Magneto’s voice booms from every speaker, every phone, every cochlear implant on the planet:

“Charles. Old friend. You taught me coexistence. I chose dominance. Watch.”

  1. The Emperor’s Morning Ritual

**Imperial Palace, 07:55 a.m.**

  • Magneto floats cross-legged above the Chrysanthemum Throne, now reforged into a levitating lattice of shuriken and railgun barrels.

  • Kei kneels, offering a cup of matcha. The tea levitates in perfect spheres, each droplet reflecting a different world leader’s terrified face.

  • Tetsuo lights the Emperor’s pipe with a fingertip. The tobacco is rolled from shredded U.S. dollar bills.

  • Mieko sings a single aria. Every church bell in Kyoto shatters in harmony.

  • Ryoji stands guard, helmet reflecting the sunrise like a bloodied mirror.

  1. The 08:00 Address

Magneto descends to the balcony. The world holds its breath.

He speaks in 47 languages simultaneously—every radio, every smart fridge, every pacemaker translating in real time:

“Humanity asked for proof of mutant superiority.

You have it.

Japan is Mine.

Your weapons are Mine.

Your fear is delicious.”

He snaps his fingers.

Every nuclear warhead on Earth disarms. The plutonium cores walk out of silos on spider-legs of rebar, marching toward the Pacific to be drowned in honor.

  1. The X-Men’s Last Stand

**Shibuya Crossing, 08:05 a.m.**

  • Wolverine tries to charge. The asphalt ripples like liquid, swallowing him to the waist.

  • Storm’s winds reverse, braiding her hair into iron cables.

  • Cyclops’ visor locks shut.

  • Professor X clutches his head as Cerebro implodes in Westchester, its fragments spelling **“CHECKMATE”** in orbit.

Kei steps from the shadows, now 3 meters tall, her silhouette a living eclipse.

“Sensei says you may watch the new world. But never touch.”

  1. Epilogue – The Iron Dawn

By noon:

  • The Japanese flag is replaced. A crimson circle on black, bisected by a silver **M**.

  • Currency: yen coins now *stick* to children’s palms—payment for loyalty.

  • The Emperor’s new decree, carved into Mount Fuji with a single gesture:

    **「次の島はどれ?」**

    *“Which island is next?”*

The X-Men are airlifted out by a single magnetic pulse—gentle, almost paternal.

As the Blackbird climbs, Wolverine looks down. Tokyo’s skyline has rearranged itself into a colossal **crown**, its spires blinking in Morse:

**E-R-I-K**

**E-R-I-K**

**E-R-I-K**

Day Four ends.

The Age of Iron has only just begun.
