Rescue The Fox

The prompt disappears and the man starts to speak:

"Two hours ago, I sent an operative to remove some unwanted competition. Site recon showed her gaining entrance to the building in question but nothing since. She was expected to egress no later than sixty minutes after entry, meaning that she is now an hour late and is to be assumed captured. While she is a professional, thorough interrogation will break her and possibly indicate me, which would be both embarrassing to the Syndicate and dangerous to me personally. I had hoped to avoid a public spectacle, but now my hand is ****. It's either Fox revealing secrets to my rival, or you bringing the house down."

The man takes a deep pull out of his cigar while you remain seated, taking it all in. The world is amazingly realistic - you can smell the cigar, feel the air condition on your skin, hear the whirring of electronics - and you start to forget that it's just a game.

"So, your primary objective is to rescue Fox and bring her back. If you deem that rescuing her is impossible, you are authorized to terminate her. Your secondary objective is to finish her mission, though I am assuming that the target fled the facility as soon as she was captured. I know I would've but you never know with some of these people. Successful completion of both objectives will cut off fifty grand from your debt. Questions?"

You stand up and are again amazed by your size. The man is barely taller than your waist.

"No questions boss lemme at 'em!"

Your voice surprises you - it's nowhere near as gravelly as you expected, and your tusks make articulation difficult. You're not going to become a public speaker, that's for sure. Your boss nods at you and points at the double-doors on one side. You push them open and crouch a bit to get out, to find yourself standing in an empty parking lot. The doors behind you close and the massive truck slowly drives away. Seems that this Syndicate is pretty rich, able to wield a mobile command post like that.

Your image link brings up an image of The Fox, showing that she is indeed an extremely attractive dark elf. Hopefully, you'll get to fuck her at some point. More importantly, it also brings up a map that shows your route. The target facility is very close, so you start jogging. At the end of the lot, you jump against a fire-escape and easily rush to the top of the building, taking in the sights.

On the other side of the street, perhaps five hundred meters or so is a brothel. The map confirms it as your target. You dial in your cyber eyes and examine it. The street entrance is a heavy steel door with a pair of armed guards wearing body armor flanking it. Scattered around the street you spot several other armed men making an attempt to look inconspicuous and failing miserably. You study the target building, the lower windows are large a lit by red lighting. In each window a young woman, man or creature displays themselves, enticing passers-by to enter the brothel. The upper floor windows of the building appear mirrored and nothing can be seen of the interior. Unfortunately, you cannot see the roof, as the building you're on now is too low. Well, you weren't going to pull off any crazy rope stunts anyway. Seems that you will get a good workout dealing with all those guards and then gain entry through steel doors.

Luckily, your enhanced hearing picks up the sound of an oncoming van. You turn your head and sure enough, a delivery truck painted in the colors of a local grocery chain is laboring its way towards the brothel. If you moved fast, you might hitch a ride.
