You take the left path, the footing is extremely even, odd for an ever changing forest you think and that should make it easy for you and Ixy to stay together. Is what you would think if the two of you weren't separated in minutes. You sigh and trust her judgement that the forest will lead her to where she needs to be and do the same for you. You do your best to navigate through the path, adjusting to areas of thicker foliage. You try once or twice to hack through some of the denser bush, much to Baroqua's chagrin that this is the bush your invading, but the way things become denser and denser tells you that your best bet is to follow the path the forest laid out for you.

The walk isn't short, and while you're not sure how finely tuned the forest is to your actions, the smooth and even dirt path turned gnarled and rock filled after you started hacking away at the bushes for a while. If you were a betting man you'd be much poorer for it, but you would bet that this forest is quite petty about any persistent pruning.
