Erebus

As Melinoë appeared in the familiar woods of Erebus, before levitated a familiar sigil of a pink heart. As she approached and touched it, the voice of Lady Aphrodite appeared in her head.

" My gorgeous, if I am not mistaken, you have activated a secret vow in that oath of yours! I created it along with the good Lady Nyx and I am really glad you found it because it is a fun one! I tell you what, when you get back to the crossroads tonight, take my mirror with you. It will help me locate you much easier and I will explain all there is to know about the vow. Oh and enjoy yourself tonight, I'm sure you have never experienced anything like this my beautiful cousin! "

" Lady Aphrodite- "

Not fully understanding the message she just received, Melinoë picked her blessing as the first enemy shades began to appear. Melinoë quickly cut through them, ripping them apart with the strength of her magic. As she progressed forward, leaving nothing behind but defeated shades, she reached an alcove with a new enemy. One she knew very well. A thorn weeper. A large towering shade that sends roots to hurt and entrap the young goddess. She darted between the vines and other enemies around quickly eliminating one but allowing herself to be cornered. Focusing her magic and channeling her omega attack, she quickly rid herself of any whispers, spindles and wailers but unexpectedly, a vine from the other thorn weeper reached her and immobilized her. She looked around and noticed this to be her finally enemy so Melinoë didn't even try to escape as she focused on her special, sending small projectiles from her staff towards the looming shade. That was when she realized the vines acted differently than ever before. They began climbing up her leg with purpose, wrapping themselves around her leg as one of the many vines shot upwards to her nether area. Melinoë was taken aback as the singular vine was now moving back and forth against her black panties, tracing the outline of her slit.

" What the- "

Melinoë quickly casted her omega special, sending a massive ball of magic towards the strangely acting shade, quickly dispatching him and the vines along with him.

" What was that? Why was the shade doing... that? "

There was an obvious redness to her cheeks. She reached under her dress, realizing the unexpected rubbing of her quim made her body react very strongly as now there was a very clear wet line on her underwear.

" Is this the vow's doing? And is that why Aphrodite told me to have fun? Would make sense, she is the goddess of love and other... stuff. Hmm... "

Turning her focus back at the objective, Melinoë went back to trudging through Erebus, fighting shades, collecting her rewards and now being much more careful of any funny business the shades might have. That was until a large moneybag symbol appeared at the exit from one of the clearings. Melinoë knew this symbol very well. It was the shopping area of Lord Charon, the boatman of the underworld. As she entered and came closer, the boatman stood there next to his wares, awaiting the young princess and her coins.

" Lord Charon! Say, don't you feel a little weird this evening? There was a new vow I activated and some shades are acting rather... suspicious."

" Aughhhhhh... haaaaaghhhh... "

" You feel it too then? How does a single vow have this much power?... "

Melinoë didn't ponder about it for too long as the biggest and final test of Erebus was just in front of her. The headmistress that tests her each night before she is released further down on the road to Tartarus. But before hand the princess spent her hard earned gold, buying a hidden boon that ended up being a little pick me up from her cousin Apollo and also a Centaur heart. But while browsing the store she had a feeling that Lord Charon was watching her more closely...

Still, the headmistress was waiting.

Hecate was already waiting, just like every other night. Melinoë approached, staff in hand as Hecate as well prepared for their scruffle.

" Headmistress, have the shades been acting strangely perhaps this particular night? "

" Whatever do you mean Melinoë? Have they been giving you harder times than usual? "

"N-no... you see... one of the thorn weepers, the vines traveled up my leg and... "

" Prohibited you from moving? Thorn weepers can't move very well so immobilizing you is pretty much their only chance of inflicting some real damage on you. "

" No... The vine started touching me... you know... down there... "

A confused look was recognizable on Hecate's covered face.

" Melinoë, you are young and with all that is happening to you now, maybe your mind was playing tricks on you. Come, let's test whether you truly are focused on your task or whether you should go home and play with yourself under a blanket. "

Melinoë's cheeks reddened at the last comment but she quickly focused at Hecate's attacks. The fight didn't go on for too long as Melinoë quickly defeated her headmistress, sending her back to the crossroads. But hidden from the princess were the really feelings and thoughts of her headmistress. She could feel it too. That feeling in the air, that unexplained... arousal. She just didn't want to bother the girl. That is why Melinoë now found herself down at the entrance in Oceanus where the familiar trio of sirens waited for her.
