Grounded

"What... what do you mean you are grounded and can't patrol?" Giles asked.

Buffy groaned and shrunk in on herself. She cast a sidelong look at Xander on the other side of the table and he just gave her a helpless shrug. Buffy gave a half hearted glare at Giles, "What it means is you didnt tell me that... that... that blowing Xander was going to knock me out. I wake up and my Mom's home and yelling at us."

Giles blinked and leaned towards her, "What?"

Buffy put her head in her hands and slumped forward on the tabletop, "I'm not repeating myself."

Giles looked between the two veey embarrassed teenagers. "Xander?"

He looked down at the tabletop, "I mean, I, uh... Buffy, uh... did... that... it was... GOOD... but then.... Mrs. Summers... uh, it was BAD."

Giles took his glasses off and massages his eyes. Taking a deep breath he pulled on his training and tried to be professional. He gestured with his glasses at Buffy. "I see. Is there going to be trouble from your mother? Is she looking to do harm to Xander? Do American mother's threaten boyfriends with shotguns or is that just American fathers?"

Both teens looked at him, snorted and laughed.

Giles looked at them expectantly. "Would you care to let me in on the joke?"

"Mom loves Xander. She thinks hes innocent and I'm eeeevil for taking advantage of him." Buffy shook her head.

Joyce Summers stared at her hand, specifically at her fingers. The fingers she had just sucked on for five minutes. Trying to savor the fleeting flavor, she swore she could still taste it on her fingers. The fingers she had used to touch... him... his... magnificent... manly... member...

Joyce shuddered at the thrill shot thru her body, from her mouth to her cunt before settling into a pulsing tingle and warmth flooding her body.

"Oh GOD! I need to get fucked."

"I see. That is, at least, something." Giles put his glasses back on.

"Yup, dont need another blonde trying to kill me." Xander nodded.

"Another?" Giles looked at the boy.

"Weird blonde lady damn near broke my back last night when she knocked me down. Gave me a cross as an apology. Said her name was Darla and was ominously friendly." He pulled the cross out of his shirt and jiggled the silver chain it was on.

"Darla?" Giles wrote the name down. "And what did she look like?"

"Blonde. Early 20s." Xander looked anywhere but at Buffy, "Very pretty. Stylishly dressed. Strong."

"I see." Giles hmmed, "An independent hunter perhaps."

Xander shrugged.

Giles canted his head as he focused on his Slayer, "And in the future, uhm, do you plan to still...." he looked to Xander.

"Power up?" Buffy asked with an eye roll. Giles made an agreeable noise. "If I have to. Just... no more drinking from the hose."

Xander snickered as Buffy ruefully smirked.

"It truly rendered you ****?" Giles asked.

Buffy and Xander nodded their heads.

"Remarkable." He looked between the two, "Perhaps refrain from doing, uhm, that in the future. Stick to, uhm, manual stimulation." Giles looked away from the teens and focused on his office, "My office is, well, a safe place to..."

"Power up." Xander and Buffy chorused.

"Anything else?" Giles asked.

"Cheerleader try outs tomorrow." Buffy pointed out. "Mom would probably cool off if I got back into cheering. Extracurriculars mean I'm not doing naughty evil things with Xander and disappointing my mother."

Giles weighed the options before him. It was probably wiser to support this as it would get his Slayer out of trouble with her mother. Out of trouble and no longer grounded was the optimal option. Cheering was probably easier to work out around then an irrate mother.

"Yes. Good luck to you. Try not to **** your abilities to earn a spot... cheering. Try and be sporting to the others." Giles gave a half hearted smile.
