Between Chloe and Heather in the kitchen

It turned out Zack wouldn't mind a quick walk in the rain - if it could help them all keep warm for the night -, while Heather went off to the kitchen to make those sandwiches she said that she would. That left only Gavin still standing around, though he didn't object when she told to just keep an eye on the fire, like it wasn't enough with the other four in the living room.

Chloe was still fuming however - due to the game, and everything else that happened during the day -, and she found herself getting out of her couch to follow when she realized Heather would be alone for a moment in the kitchen.

"Oh, Chloe...?" The busty brunette flashed her one of those annoying little grins and wink over her shoulder when she entered the room behind her, causing Chloe to blush a little as she realized she could at least have put on something more than just the blanket before trying to confront the other girl. "Nice show back there...!"

"Same to you, I guess..." The redhead replied, with a hint of frosty sarcasm to her voice, while she wished the other girl's compliment hadn't affected her like it actually did. "I'm sure you're happy with all the hard work you've put down on all this...?"

"Would you care to elaborate...?" Heather just kept smiling, while completely ignoring the tone to Chloe's voice, and thus managing to annoy her even more. "Do you mean I was too rough on Vicky...?"

"Yeah, that and your losing on purpose just to make the game the way you wanted..." Chloe accused her, even as she knew she wasn't all that much better herself. "And for what you were doing with Brandon before lunch!"

"What are you trying to achieve here, exactly...?" She continued then, as she could see the look of mild surprise on Heather's face, and grew bolder as she felt she had a slight advantage. "Do you think we're some kind of playthings for you? So you can mess around with our relationships however you want...?"

"Oh, and you're that much better yourself...?" The brunette finally turned around from what she was doing, to look her directly in the eyes, although the smile on her face and the friendly to tone in her voice didn't change one bit. "Did you enjoy giving head to Gavin, like twenty minutes after you were done with Zack...?"

Now, that was like like pouring a bucket of cold water over Chloe's head, and she found herself completely speechless in front of the girl she'd come to confront. For just a brief moment she thought Gavin must have betrayed her, and actually told someone of what she'd been up to, but quickly realized that was absolutely unthinkable. She couldn't even try to accuse the other girl of spying though, as she'd practically just confessed that she wasn't any better herself.

"So, we're not that different after all..." Heather continued with a soft and lecherous smile on her lips, before they both came to realize that Zack was already back from outside and stood watching them from the doorway. It was quite obvious that he'd overheard the last part of their discussion, and just for once did the cheerleader captain seem to sincerely regret her words as she noticed how the two best friends stared at one another.

Luckily it didn't seem like the guy was about to have some fit of anger out of jealousy at least, though Chloe might actually have preferred that over the confused glance that he was giving her, and she could feel her cheeks blazing red again as she'd never felt so embarrassed in her life. Not only had she utterly failed in her confrontation with Heather, but also had the tables turned right back at herself in the very worst kind of scenario.

Meanwhile, Zack didn't know what to think or say really, but felt strangely at ease when several pieces of the puzzle started falling into place for him. Finally he knew where Chloe had been during the rest of the night at least, and that she'd not had any part in Heather's prank of somehow dropping Vicky off into his bed.

He knew he should be mad about his two best friends cheating on him behind his back though, but considering how Chloe herself had described their relationship last night he couldn't really blame her for having more of that kind of 'buddies' than just himself. In fact he was even rather happy for their sake, as it meant that Gavin wasn't entirely left out, and that Chloe had someone else to turn to when he wasn't around. It also meant that he wouldn't need to feel so bad for pursuing other girls - like Victoria for example -, even if he'd still feel bad for giving up too easily on a deeper relation to Chloe...

Then he realized the girl couldn't possibly read his mind however, and he reacted instinctively as she tried to dash right past him through the door, by snatching her up in his arms and just holding her tight for a while. It took him a few moments to realize that they were both nearly naked however, and he could see the look on her face shifting through a lot of emotions before she eventually settled for 'simply blushing', due to his colder skin making her nipples harden against his chest.

"T-thanks..." She whispered finally, as he let her back down again, and then hurried back towards their room while wrapping the blanket even tighter around her body. By the look in her eyes and the tone to her voice she'd understood what he was thinking at least, and hopefully all this wouldn't have such an impact on their current relation after all...

Now, Heather was something different entirely however, and Zack couldn't keep from wondering what was moving through that troublemaker's head while she returned her attention back to the sandwiches again - with her short skirt riding high up her hips like usual. She was one fine piece of ass at least, and he really couldn't blame his friend Brandon for falling into one of her many traps...
