Sue Storm Accepts Malice

The decision, once it was made, felt easy. Sue Storm slid upward. Into the mirror. Into her reflection. Memories, thoughts, emotions she had long repressed seemed to surge into her like cold water, filling the gaps in her being she never realized were there, all the empty spaces in her life. The wants, the desires, the ambitions unfitting of a heroine, mother, wife.

For a moment, Sue Storm seemed to float in an empty grey space. Knowledge seeped into her. All the little hints that "Dr. Karla Stone" had so foolishly hidden. The evidence of her identity, her manipulation, now crystal clear to Sue. Anger, white hot, burned within the Invisible Woman at the thought of how Moonstone had tried to use her. Anger—and something else. Something primal.

A need to make that bitch pay for what she had done.

When she opened her eyes in the dark, still hugging the pillow, a cold and calculating smile played on her face. She casually fed the pillow into a waste disposal unit, and walked on silent feet to the comms center. Established a connection with the S.H.I.E.L.D. and Avengers databases, downloaded every scrap of information on Moonstone.

Fantasies played out in her mind. Monomolecular thin **** fields cutting off Moonstone's limbs, turning her into a quadripalegic pillow that Sue could snuggle with at night. Or a personal punching bag, left suspended in some hidden chamber deep in the bowels of the Baxter building, used as a way to relieve her stress. Cruel, impractical fantasies. Reading Moonstone's file, her psychological profile, the specifics on the alien gemstone that gave Moonstone her powers, Sue thought of a better solution.

From the vault of alien technology that the Fantastic Four had acquired over the years, she found the pieces that she needed. Rigellian gravity manipulation tech. Kree energy containment shackles. A Skrull targeting matrix from the last Kree-Skrull war. Individually of limited use against Moonstone's gravity-based powers. Taken together, however...

Sue Storm was not a genius, certainly not on the level of her husband. But she had the equivalent of a postgraduate degree in bodging together alien technology. She brought the bits and pieces to Reed's lab, where he was asleep at his desk. A wifely instinct made her carefully lift him up with invisible **** fields and carry him to bed, tucking him in like she would one of the children. The better to work alone.

She looked down at his sleeping form for a moment. Sue Storm still loved him, even as she now realized her sexual needs were not being met. That was something that she would have to take care of, with or without Reed, in the future. For the moment, however, she was more concerned about ****...and, perhaps, if things worked out, she could catch both birds with a single stone.

A malicious smile graced Sue's lips as she got to work on her little surprise for Moonstone. Their next session would go quite different than the previous ones.
