AMBUSH!
Hilde found Ellen in the center of Lakeview Village waiting for her. Hilde said, “You know it is really odd seeing myself with breasts that big. I hope that will satisfy some of the audience. I doubt it will, though.”
“I could always increase you to this size just for a round. I’m sure you could find something to use that much BP on.”
“I do currently have 0 BP… I’ll consider an expansion later.”
“Fair enough.”
“Now, what do you need help with exactly? Honestly, I thought the most difficult part of the quest was that it would have taken most of the day for us to come here.”
Ellen shook her head as she led them away from the town center. “No, I’m willing to bet the other team will get a priority quest to stop it. Given that the quest board is in the palace, and this place is at least an hour away on foot, I would guess that the idol will have to be undisturbed for two hours. It might be less, but I feel like they are going to be given a chance to stop it unless we deliberately time it such that they can’t mess with it.”
“Okay, sure, but why did you need me here early then?”
“Well… I wasn’t sure when I should actually start the task exactly. Partially because I was debating if I wanted to risk messing with the other team more.”
“You want to go back to the capital after already fucking with them?”
“No.” Ellen shook her head. “They aren’t there anyway. I heard a couple of ASTRID NPCs talking about the heroes riding past their caravan in this direction. They mentioned a moose, which Sadie was most definitely riding one this morning, and a princess as well, who they have traveling with them for some reason.”
“Wait, are they here in town?”
“No.” Ellen pulled out a map of the local area and pointed to some woods north and west of the village, and ran up along the west edge of the lake. “They are somewhere in these woods. Also, before I forget. Would you mind if I save your form in my necklace? I can save two people, but I have to physically touch them. It allows me to transform into that form nearly instantly without effort. I almost got caught because I couldn’t swap to your form fast enough.”
Hilde considered it for a moment. “Yeah, sure.” Ellen reached out and shook Hilde’s hand. Ellen’s features altered every so slightly to match Hilde’s perfectly, save for her bust size. “Damn, that’s perfect. Besides the bazongas.”
“Is… do you really live with this feeling now?”
Hilde asked, “Which one?”
“The desire to gargle Master’s cock and swallow his delectable spunk. What the… Master… Mistress… Sir, Bossman, Bosslady, I really can’t say Sir’s name?”
“Guess not, when you are a perfect replica of me.” Hilde looked down at Ellen’s breasts again, “Well, near perfect. Also, yes, honestly, not really all that bad. Do I want to do it? Yes. But it isn’t a need or compulsion, it’s a desire. Also, Ellen, you will find that I am willing to do a LOT with Master. Sir, is rather cool, and even if we can’t figure out how to save Astrid before the end of the season, I’m going to use the wish to help figure it out. I wish the wish would just solve the problem itself, but it can’t be used that way. Ellen, we’re teammates right now. I just want you to understand that in the future, if it comes to me or you, realize what you are competing against as far as I’m concerned.”
“Yeah, I don’t have anything nearly that important to wish for. But… that doesn’t mean I’m just going to help you take first either. My wish isn’t unimportant to me.”
“I know, and I swear there will be no bad blood between me and any of you if we can’t save her. Unless I find out you legitimately could have saved her and didn’t. You all are putting in real effort to try and help, and we’ve actually made progress that we haven’t made before. Maja thought there was a reasonable chance that one of us joining the harem could provide a solution. Maja is a huge skeptic about these sorts of plans, too.”
Ellen nodded, “We’ve sort of gotten off topic. I was thinking we could sneak up on them and try and take out one of them, maybe more.”
Hilde seemed hesitant. “Look, I’m normally all for reckless plans. But just the two of us?”
With a smirk, “Hilde, right now I’m very similar to you, I can feel that desire for a reckless plan too. The thing is, I came up with this plan prior to taking your form. Plus, it isn’t like I’m suggesting we just charge them and straight up fight them. I’m thinking I snipe them once or twice, and then you do a flash kick and we scarper.”
“A flash kick?”
“The Flash is a fictional superhero speedster. Having similar powers to your talent. He would build up a crazy amount of speed coming in from a long distance and then punch or kick something at super sonic speeds.”
“I’m not allowed to go super sonic on set. I was very explicitly forbidden from doing that. Barring an actual emergency.”
“It doesn’t have to be super sonic, a punch or kick at 100 miles per hour will still lay someone out. The magic should protect them, right?”
“Yeah, Sam is using real swords, and those won’t hurt us. Just actually landing a punch or kick at those speeds isn’t easy. Also, you have to remember something about punches and kicks. I will feel the impact too. My class does somewhat protect me, and I do know how to throw a punch and land a kick, but you are still asking me to essentially run directly into something at those speeds. Tell me, did you hit any trees or even small branches on your way here?”
“A few…”
“And I bet it hurt like a mother fu— I mean that it was extraordinarily painful.”
“ A few smaller branches, and they were painful… also, thank you.”
“No problem. My point is no imagine if you actually went and punched a tree like that.” Ellen winced. “Exactly. Like I said, between my class, my talent, and my ability, I can throw a punch and land a kick even at high speeds, but there is a difference between transferring my momentum into a punch when I’m going twenty miles an hour and sixty miles an hour. I’m durable, but I’m not so durable that I can simply kick someone at a hundred mph and not take recoil damage. Not saying I would be incapacitated, but I also don’t want to find out, without the rest of our team here.”
“Okay, but you could still throw a super-fast surprise punch. I’m pretty sure they think I’m the only one around. Honestly, exhausting one of them would be a huge victory for us. I want to go for it. If you don’t, I understand. You can either wait here and place the idol or stay out of the fighting, but help me escape if needed, if you don’t want to participate.”
“Nah, I’m coming. I’m totally up for some punching.”
Task: Lakeview Forest Raiders
- Risk: High
- Reward: 2100xp split amongst participants. 500 Empire Merit. 30 CP to split based upon contribution.
- Multiple Caravans and guard patrols have been ambushed, with even a few fatalities. It is believed the culprits of these attacks lurk in the Lakeview forest. Find and eliminate the source of the threat. Any supplies or loot you find may be kept or turned in for a greater reward.
The party was traveling to the Lakeview Forest mostly on horseback, except for Sadie and Ethel, who were riding Bertha. They had even brought an extra pair of horses dragging along a cart, in hopes they would find some missing supplies. Sadie found the horses rather cooperative when it was mentioned that horse feed was one of the items that went missing, and they were promised a hearty share if they would be willing to follow orders. They greeted those they passed along the road. Eventually, they left the road proper to head slightly north towards the woods. Most of the way there, they either rode in uncomfortable silence or talked tactics. Ethel tried to break the awkward tension, but after the third failed attempt gave up.
It was Talia who successfully broke the tension. “Ethel, can you tell us what is, Empire Merit?”
“Oh, that. Well, it is essentially a contribution system. You can turn it in for lots of things.”
“So it’s like money?”
“Both yes, and no. You can exchange Empire Merit for money, if you really want, but I don’t feel like that is a great use of it for you. The thing is, you can’t exchange money for Empire Merit… well, typically you can’t. Anyway, you can get things you can’t normally get with money with merit. With enough merit, you could ask for nearly anything the empire is capable of providing. Including becoming Emperor or Empress. Well… in this case, I mean Empress Maja’s spouse. But practically speaking, for you… well gear, and allocation of military resources. Possibly hiring better trainers to push you further. Blessings from the church, so many things that it’s just hard to list them all.”
Sadie asked, “Is there like a list of things back at the palace?”
Ethel nodded, “Yes, though if you want something not on the list, just ask me. I’ll be able to find out fairly easily.”
Sam asked, “Is 500 Empire merit a lot or a little? Considering it is going to our group as a whole and not individuals.”
“Well, for an individual, it would be a huge sum. Even split, if used well, should go rather far.”
“Stop talking,” Sam ordered. “I smell blood.”
Allie nodded her agreement. “Faint though.” Allie started to sniff the air, like a bloodhound. “I would say about two days old… and it gets stronger that way.” Allie pointed northward.
Talia looked at Allie skeptically, “Seriously, you can tell how old the blood smell is? I mean, I can understand smelling it. But how old it is?”
Sam said, “I agree with Allie’s assessment; it also matches with how old the last reported attack was. So be on your guard from here on out.”
Sadie instructed the horses to wait by the forest edge as the trees were too thick to bring the cart deeper in. Everyone else dismounted except for her and Ethel, who remained on top of Bertha. Out of the cart came several dozen mice who had all enlisted in the Order of The Big Cheese. They ran ahead of the group in the direction Allie said the blood was stronger.
The group proceeded slowly, not wanting to be ambushed. About ten minutes later, the first cheese knights had returned. After another two, the whole swarm was back riding on the back of Bertha. Cheddar said, “So, many, many, short, stinky men.”
“Don’t forget green.” One of the mice in the pile said.
Cheddar nodded, “Yeah, short, stinky, green men. And wolves, but not nice wolves like you have, princess.”
Sadie replied. “I don’t have wolves. Allie and Isabella aren’t mine. They are my friends, though. Thank you for the information, and here is your cheese wheel. I got Gouda this time.”
A chant of “GOUDA, GOUDA, GOUDA!” came from the swarm of mice. Sadie was glad that only she and Ethel could understand the mice.
Sam felt paranoid. She understood why Allie had had Mark set her list like he did. But she was now constantly worried that she was putting Mark in danger. But also knew that if Mark didn’t come, not only would he be in more danger later. She wouldn’t be there to protect him now. Plus, she couldn’t solve Mark’s problems if she weren’t around. Maybe he needs his dick wetted. NO SAM, STOP THAT! That would just cause him more problems later. He would feel guilty. WHICH IS DUMB! I want this. I wanted it yesterday. Still, I know he wouldn’t want to take me like this without us talking about it first. Hey Sally, if you can hear this, could you send me like a dozen donuts so I can talk with Mark about using them consensually. Like, during the next fan mail. Please! Sam heard a twig snap. Then another mouse rejoined the swarm forming on Bertha’s back.
Sam listened to the conversation Sadie had with the mouse known as Cheddar. Huh, so goblins then, and wolves. So goblin riders. Sam heard the chanting of ‘Gouda’ by the swarm. I wonder if Sadie realizes that she isn’t the only one to be able to understand them.
Sadie said, “So we likely have goblins and wolves not far up ahead. There is a cave where they are taking shelter. The mice don’t know how many are inside, but said there were many outside. Sam, if you don’t mind, I would like you to hang back and protect Mark, Laura, Talia, and Ethel while Allie, Isabella, and I take the vanguard.”
Sam replied, “I’m happy to protect the backline, but why are you in the vanguard?”
Sadie said, “I convinced Bertha here that she could either work with me and fight on the front line, or I was going to wade into things anyway, and she could protect me the best she could. She magnanimously agreed to cooperate as long as I remained on top of her, so if she needed to flee with me, she could.”
Sam said skeptically, “I see… She magnanimously acquiesced to your demands, did she?” Sam gave a slight glare that Bertha very much did not want to meet.
Sadie missed or possibly ignored Sam’s tone and beamed. “Yep, I was surprised. She’s been so much nicer and more cooperative since this morning. Maybe she was just bummed because we couldn’t take her into the catacombs with us.”
Or maybe a dragon threatened to eat her for calling the dragon’s boyfriend a fat slab of beef unworthy to ride atop her. How dare a cow insult a part of a dragon’s hoard! Come on, Sam… Mark is your boyfriend first, and part of your hoard of very soft and comfy pillows second. “Like I said, I’m good with staying back and protecting Mark and the others.”
After a few more minutes of walking, the mice indicated they were close. The mice dismounted Bertha and spread out. They said they would help where they could, but mostly, Sadie was using their senses to better control the battlefield. They came upon a clearing with two dozen goblins and half that number of wolves. They were cooking a large haunch of meat over a fire. Slowly turning the spit.
Sadie said, “Okay, Allie, you and Bertha are leading the charge, and Isabella, you follow in our wake. Talia, you have free rein unless I give you a direct order. I’ll trust your judgement here. Laura, keep those ranged attacks coming. Mark, you got anything you want to pass out?”
Mark nodded and walked over to Sam, and gently cupped her face in his hands. “Your hoard is awaiting your safe return. Keep a keen eye and a sharp ear open, my scaled protector.” Then he kissed her. Sam wanted to kiss him back passionately, but knew she shouldn’t; she could and would control her emotions and not let them control her.
Sam did faintly mutter, “I agree with Laura, the feelings from buffs and healing are nice.”
Mark then went over to Allie and put his hands on her shoulders, standing behind her and crouching down to whisper into her ear. “You dummy, kick logic out and do the impossible! Remember that! That’s the way Team Fairy Castle rolls. Just do it, I know you can do it. Listen, Allie, don’t believe in yourself. Believe in me, believe in the Mark that believes in you!”
Allie gained a massive surge of energy, and her tail stood on end. While most heard Mark’s words and looked a little confused, Talia nodded, clearly thinking, ‘like of course, that was a solid pep talk,’ while Isabella snickered, knowing exactly where Mark stole that line from. Allie, a moment later, charged the goblins, taking out two before they knew what was happening.
Ellen was watching the other team for a while. She and Hilde had found their horses waiting by the side of the woods. The two of them scared off or incapacitated the lot of them. Ellen swapped into Flora. She took a few minutes to get her appearance good enough that Flora’s boon would work properly instead of like it did earlier that day. Hilde confirmed she couldn’t acknowledge Ellen’s presence while it was active, but she could remember she was there after the fact. After that, she tracked the other team. With Bertha’s massive hoofprints, it was fairly easy to actually follow them. Hilde agreed to hang back a bit, barely keeping Ellen in sight, and would wait until Ellen sent her a message via the ring.
Ellen found the group and moved for a better vantage point, as she noticed they had stopped moving. She found a small outcropping of rocks to give her a height advantage. She saw that there was a large group of goblins and wolves in a clearing in front of the cave. Everyone got ready. Ellen turned her multitool into a crossbow and loaded up a dildo bolt she had gotten from Chloe’s bag. Mark, for some reason unknown to Ellen, kissed Sam and then whispered something to Allie. Ellen saw Allie radiate an almost physical aura as Mark stood up. Allie charged and shocked Ellen with her ferocity. As did the moose, it was terrifying as it trampled the enemies underfoot. Isabella was graceful as she took advantage of the confusion.
Ellen observed the backline. Shit, it looks like Sam is intentionally hanging back. It’s like the wolves won’t approach her. OH, it’s probably her dragon aura. Dang, that’s going to make getting an opening hard. Ellen sent a message to Hilde. “Okay, here is the plan. They are fighting goblins. I’m going to shoot at Mark. Hopefully, I’ll incapacitate him. Sam is protecting the backline, though. Will send another message for the countdown.”
Hilde replied. “Okay, I’m ready when you are. I’ll try to make sure Mark is down and then go for whoever else provides an opportunity. But I won’t stay long.”
Ellen waited for an opening. She took slow breaths, steadying her aim. She tried to ignore the mouse underfoot as it skittered away towards her prey. She saw her opportunity and counted down for Hilde. “3. 2. 1. Fired!” The blot flew towards the party. Ellen’s aim had been true. The blot struck solid.
Sam thought the fight was going well. Everyone except Allie wasn’t suffering many wounds. Their mana reserves were good. I knew we could handle this, even if there is more inside, we should be fine. Sam thought she heard something, but wasn’t sure. She looked to her left and saw multiple mice headed her way.
They were all shouting the same thing, though their little voices were hard to hear. “Lioness! Lioness!”
Sam processed what they said at the last second, “AMBUSH!” Sam saw the bolt flying in midair, and only thanks to Talia’s quick thinking, accelerating Sam’s movements a bit was she able to move between the bolt and Mark. She raised her shield to deflect the bolt, but in her haste, she angled it incorrectly, and the bolt deflected off her shield directly onto her chin. Her vision swam in a pink haze as she tried to right her bearings.
Talia noticed Allie was lost in her frenzy, and Sam wasn’t in a good state. She accelerated Sam’s time. She might not be able to leave the bubble like that, but it should give her time to think and clear some of the arousal. Then Talia created a wall of slower time to their left and the rear, hoping to buy them more time before the other team could charge them.
Sam was PISSED. She noticed the time bubble Talia gave her and was grateful. It wouldn’t serve them well for her to go off half cocked. I’m not going to let that bitch get away with this a second time. HOW DARE SHE TRY TO HARM MY HOARD! Sam didn’t hesitate further and began to transform into her full dragon form. She could see Ellen in Flora’s form and realized that Ellen knew she could see her, too. Ellen had already started to change forms as Sam released a gout of lightning from her mouth at Ellen.
Hilde was sprinting north from the moment Ellen had started counting, figuring that she was about eight seconds south of her potential targets. She would have been right on the money if not for Talia’s actions. Hilde hit the wall of different time. Luckily for Hilde, Talia could only cover such a large area because the time dilation was fairly low. It delayed her for three whole seconds, which was enough time for Sam to launch her lightning breath, and for Mark to notice Hilde. Mark thought Hilde was going to go for the severely injured Sam and dove to protect Sam, which allowed Hilde to easily hit her intended target.
Ellen had begun transforming into Hilde the second Sam had shouted ambush and that had barely been soon enough to narrowly dodge Sam’s lightning, and that was with the extra time Talia had accidentally bought her as the lightning took extra time to travel through the warped zone of time, too. But she had still taken damage from falling debris, flying rocks, and some small arcs at the edge of Sam’s breath weapon. She looked at her HP and realized that if she took almost any more damage, she was done for. She retreated and circled to the opposite side of Mark and company. She saw as Hilde landed a punch on Mark, and Hilde retreated. To everyone’s surprise, Hilde retreated straight up stepping on clouds. Believing her teammate safe, Ellen sprinted out of the woods.
Sam had transformed back to her humanoid form and put a hand on Mark’s slightly bruised chest. “I’m sorry,” Sam said. Then something strange happened as Mark reached up and put a hand on Sam’s face. Time stopped for everyone but the two of them. Not slowed, stopped.
Mark saw that he had lost all his HP and was being given a chance to activate a particular ability, not thinking he would have the chance to use it so soon. He had only just gotten it earlier today. Placing a hand on Samantha’s face, he said, “Listen, Samantha, never forget: Just believe in yourself. Not in the Samantha I believe in. Not in the Mark that you believe in. Have faith in the Samantha that believes in you.”
“Mark, what are you…”
“Finishing Buff. GIGA! SPEED! BOOST!... Later, Flygirl.” Mark collapsed as incapacitation overwhelmed his senses and he was lost in a horny haze.
+3 CP Incapacitate a Rival Team Member (Hilde) (1 per target's level)
Samantha felt the surge of speed as time resumed moving. Though it hardly felt that way to Samantha. Everyone seemed to be moving so slow. I shouldn’t leave my team in the middle of a fight. Sam took a second and incapacitated the remaining goblins and blasted her dragon aura, causing the wolves to flee in terror. Then she took flight. Following the path Hilde went. As soon as she crossed the top of the trees, she saw Hilde in the distance. Running on clouds.
Hilde felt the dragon aura hit her as soon as Samantha’s gaze landed on her. She realized she needed to get to the ground and fast. It wasn’t fast enough, though, as Samantha was on her in seconds. Hilde was launched into the ground by Sam's downward slash. Hilde watched as she took half her HP as she cratered into the ground. Shit, she’s fast. She also knows how to actually fight. Luckily, it seems she’s getting used to that speed.
Sam stared at Hilde, searching for the one she truly wanted, but Ellen was nowhere to be seen. “Guess your teammate abandoned you.” Sam wasted no more words and dove at Hilde.
Hilde was faster, but Sam’s dragon aura, fighting instincts, and the reach of her weapon proved to be a greater edge. Hilde was taking damage. She was just hoping that she could hold out long enough for the buff to wear off.
When she got a mental message from Ellen. “Get to the road. Flash punch on the count of ten. TEN… Nine…”
Hilde thought it was crazy, but didn’t see another option. “Moving now. Eight…” She weaved and glitched between blows. “Seven.” Sam nicked Hilde’s hip with the tip of her sword. Six. Hilde created a cloud to kick off of and inspected her HP: twenty-five percent left. Five. Hilde blocked a shield bash and used the **** to propel her in the right direction, but still took damage. Four. Only fifteen percent HP left. She dodged another flurry of swipes by glitching around them. Three. Hilde saw Ellen out of the corner of her eye and moved to put Samantha’s back to Ellen, but took a nasty slash to her arm. Two. Hilde so wanted sex right now, and it was hard to focus. She collapsed to her knees. One. Samantha raised her sword to finish Hilde off when the sonic boom hit both of them, as Ellen collided full body with Samantha. Sending Ellen and Samantha flying over Hilde, both ****.

+3 CP Incapacitate Rival Team Member (Samantha)
Hilde was dazed and looked at the two of them lying on the road ****. She checked her status and was at four percent HP. She saw that Laura wasn’t far away but appeared dazed, just like Hilde was. Hilde managed to recover a second faster, and she was closer to Ellen and Sam. She dashed over and grabbed Ellen, thankful that Ellen didn’t revert her form when she became incapacitated. She and Laura locked eyes for a second; neither moved. Hilde acted first and sprinted away. She felt herself get hit with multiple spells. Suggestions to stop and masturbate, spikes of arousal. She focused on one thought, though, to block it all out. For Astrid. I need to win this challenge to help Astrid. To do that, I need to protect my team. For Astrid. For Astrid. Hilde simply kept repeating that over and over as she ran. She found the spells had stopped once Laura could no longer see Hilde. Hilde kept running for another five minutes, but then found a place to lie low. Hilde sat Ellen down and then sat down herself. Hilde checked her status page. She let out a laugh. “HAHAHAHA… I can’t fucking believe it.” Hilde grabbed the ring off of Ellen’s finger and slipped it on her own. “Hey, Flora. Ellen’s down. Like down down. I’m really low. I think we got Mark. I know Ellen took out Sam. Probably botched their quest, too. I have the idol. Might need some assistance.”
“Where are you. We are still more than an hour from you, even if we push the horses. Will head towards Lakeview at full gallop.”
Hilde waited for the cooldown on the ring to pass and sent. “Sounds good. Currently a bit south and west of Lakeview. In a second set of woods. Not sure if it is safe to stay here.”
“Okay, well, that should shave off some time to get to you then, as that is in our direction. Ellen has maps. We just crossed a bridge over a fairly wide river.”
Hilde really wanted to masturbate, but for Astrid. Hilde got out the map and looked at where the rivers were. “Based on what you told me, you should be coming up on a fork in the road in a couple of minutes. Take the path that leads towards Freya’s Rest. I’ll move to the woods due east of that village. It should take you thirty minutes from the fork to get there.”
“I see it now, Freya’s Rest. See you soon. Stay safe.”
Hilde really needed to masturbate. I have time, it should be fine. Plus, I could use the self-healing. Hilde imagined sucking on Mark’s massive cock, as he face fucked her. She imagined the delectable meal she would get as he came inside her mouth. She wasn’t sure about her two most recent kinks. The one yesterday already caused problems. Why did it have to be a thing for redheads? The one gained today was for doing things outdoors, which Hilde honestly didn’t mind. She spent the next few minutes relieving herself. She found that climaxing from masturbation restored her to a little over eleven percent HP. That should do for now, in case I trip or hit a branch. Hilde picked up Ellen and made her way to Freya’s Rest. When she got near the village, Hilde located a nice, quiet place to the east of the village to wait for the others. Around the time Hilde thought they should be close, Hilde sent a message. “How far out are you guys?”
“We can just make out the town in the distance. We are veering to the east of it now.”
Hilde moved to the edge of the woods and could see them approach and flagged them down. “Hey, sorry if we derailed your plans, and we had all the fun.”
Flora frowned and, in an angry voice, said, “Fun? Ellen was incapacitated, and you nearly were, too. What then? You both would have been caught. What you did was stupidly reckless.” Flora was fuming.
Mary came over and placed a hand on Flora’s shoulder. “I get it, that would have been catastrophic.”
“Then why do I feel like you are about to tell me to calm down?”
“Oh, no, you should be pissed. Just make sure you have the right level of anger. What they did was reckless. But honestly? If they incapacitated Mark and Sam, that is definitely a worthwhile trade. Also ruining their quest would be huge, too. Especially if we can complete our quest because of it. We should have time to do it too. They took a calculated risk, and I think it paid off.”
Hilde said, “It definitely went sideways. We really just wanted a hit and run. Mary, I want to know, do you have an ability you can use on incapacitation?”
“Yeah, I got it when I hit level three. It’s called Dying Wish. I can make a plea to one of you to take vengeance upon my assailant or assailants, to give you a massive buff that lasts for five minutes. But in addition to requiring me to be incapacitated, it has a stupidly long cooldown. It’s three days after full recovery to use it again. I’m guessing Mark has something similar.” Mary had begun making a drink. When it was completed, she gave it to Hilde one kiss at a time. Finishing her healing, she said, “Sorry, Hilde, I would like to do more, but quicker healing like that is limited.
“It’s fine. I think that should be more than enough. How about we go place that idol and go back to base as soon as the quest is complete?”
Flora nodded, “Fine, that works for me. Hilde, I want you to stay here with Ellen.”
Aubrey stepped forward, “BA!” With a sigh, she signed, ‘No… they… should… come… with… us…’
Flora didn’t want to argue anymore, so she relented. The party saddled up and made their way to Lakeview Village.
