Chapter 12 by Zeebop Zeebop

How does Sue Storm look more like Mary Jane Watson?

Sue Storm Consults A Surgeon

"You want to look like Mary Jane Watson," Dr. Faiza Hussain said, as if to make sure she understood the Invisible Woman correctly. "The model?"

The consultation was in MI13's London office. The British woman wore a hijab above her pale white suit, her dark eyes penetrating. The sword Excalibur hung on the wall behind her, the empty sheath attached to a belt at her side.

"Just the body. Not the facial structure," Sue Storm. "Breasts, buttocks, waistline. I need to be recognizable as myself, but we need to be physically close for me to pass as her biometrically while invisible."

It was a little white lie. That's what Sue told herself. Dr. Faiza Hussain was a mutant as well as a physician, and her mutant ability made surgery—even rather radical cosmetic surgery—almost effortless for her. No weeks of prep and healing. She could finish in an afternoon what would take months for Sue to do through conventional surgery.

Dr. Hussain frowned.

"You realize that what you're asking isn't an illusion, or temporary. The changes to your body will be permanent until I or someone with a similar power set reverses the process. You could experience significant body dysphoria," she said.

Sue nodded, and fished out Dr. Stone's card. "Yes. I've been seeing a psychiatrist to help with stress issues, and she's agreed to help monitor my mental health. If there are any signs at her therapy sessions that it's affecting me, she can contact you directly. Besides...in our line of work, this won't be the first, or most ****, temporary transformation I've undergone."

Dr. Hussain nodded.

"Very well. I'll need detailed measurements, if you have them."

Sue Storm smiled as she fished a disc out of her purse. With the press of a button, three-dimensional scans of Mary Jane Watson, developed from surveillance footage and extrapolated from various scans and images, appeared.

"I can work with this," she said, after a moment. "Please prepare yourself."

"Do you need me to disrobe?" Sue asked.

"That will not be necessary. Just try to relax."

Then Dr. Hussain's eyes glowed with a soft, inner light...and Sue Storm unraveled.

The red-headed heroine's clothing peeled off in strips, and then skin. Muscle. Organs and integument floated apart. There was no pain, but Sue felt the strange and terrible sensation of air on the underside of her skin, of sunlight on muscles and organs that had never known them. Dr. Hussain's hands moved with the skill of a surgeon and the art of a sculptor, her mind itself a scalpel of pure thought. Using the three-dimensional holograms as a basis, she shaped and restructured bone. Slightly lengthened limbs. Slimmed the hips. Piled fat on the breasts and buttocks.

Then her hands settled on Sue Storm's uterus. She frowned.

"There is considerable damage here. How many pregnancies have you had?" she asked.

"Two live births. One miscarriage," the words sounded strange in Sue's throat, her lungs hanging in midair.

"I'm going to remove this scar tissue, and I don't like the look of these lesions," she said. A few other things followed. A few polyps in Sue Storm's colon. Scar tissue around her joints. Old scars on her skin. Cholesterol in the arteries. A lump in Sue's left breast she hadn't noticed. And then the odd sensation of her pelvic muscles being rewoven into a tighter formation.

"Tight as an eighteen-year-old," Dr. Hussain said, as she began to draw Sue Storm's disparate parts back together.

When the Invisible Woman was reassembled, she felt momentarily awkward. Her clothes no longer fit right. She was too tall, too busty, hips slimmer, ass too big, exposing her ower back and the crack of her ass. She marveled at the smoothness of her skin.

"Well, there you go," Dr. Hussain said. "Please, don't hesitate to contact me when you need the changes reversed. I'll just need detailed holographic scans of how you were."

"Of course," Sue said with a smile, wondering what Reed would say when he saw her. "Thank you very much!"

What does Reed Richards say when he sees the new Sue Storm?
