Alex's Second Date Part 1

Mike was hesitant when May told him that Alex was waiting for him at the beach. Their last date wasn't very pleasant, and they haven't really talked sense then.

His jaw hit the ground when he saw her smile.

"What? Can't I be excited," she teased him.

"Last I knew, you hated me," he said.

"I didn't hate you, I hated having a crush on you," she said, rolling her eyes. She then held out a hand.

"Come on, I want to show you how much I've changed," she said. Mike hesitated, but took her hand. Her smile lit up even more before her face turned nervous.

"Um, I know I said before I wouldn't apologize for what I did to you, but that's not true anymore. Mike, I truly am sorry for how much I bullied you," she said. Mike was touched by how heartfelt her apology was.

"Then tell me something. If you could go back and stop yourself, would you?" he asked.

"Yes," she said, without hesitation. Mike offered her a small smile.

"I believe you. I don't think I'm ready to forgive you yet, but I'm definitely ready for this date," he said. Alex smiled with misty eyes.

"Awesome! First, we're going for a run," she said. Before he could react, she grabbed his hand and started jogging.

To no one's surprise, Mike didn't do very well with the run. In fact, he felt like he was dying.

"Ok, that definitely wasn't a good idea," said Alex. Just because she's trying to get to know Mike doesn't mean she's any good at it.

"I'll, be, fine," he said through his wheezing. After a while, Mike's breathing calmed down.

"Don't worry, I have plenty of other fun activities planned," she said, leading him onwards.

Their date was probably the most normal out of all of them. They did normal things that weren't effected by magic.

Not every date needs to be chaotic.
