Challenging the Final Gym.

Since I was more then prepared for the final gym, I decided to finish that next, then move on to the last Titan and then finish Team Star in that order.
On the way there I decided to look up the Gym Leader to see if there are any changes to the character from the game. Much to my disappointment, Grusha did not turn into a girl or even a Femboy for that matter, he seems to have remained the same outwardly. Who am I to complain though, I already have myself a full Harem waiting for me after this is all over.
Me and Penny made sure to don more warm clothes before heading up the mountain again, taking a quick stop to check in on our favorite MC of RIP, who seemed to busy with her job to allow me to plow her again, before making our way to the next gym.

I wondered how the Gym test would go since I don't have the ride pokemon, but to my surprise it actually just became normal snowboarding in this case.
I head into the building and get approved to start the gym test.
To my surprise again, Grusha seems to be the one running it. Thanks to the herbs I tower over him by a solid foot and even with the extra layers, its obvious who is more physically fit. He looks slightly intimidated as I walk over.
"So... your the one who wants to challenge me huh?" He eyes me up and down and tosses me a snowboard. "Well first you gotta beat me on the slope. I don't waste my time on people who lack talent outside of just battling." He says, just as smug as he is in the game.
I chuckle as I catch the board "Sure thing little man, this is gonna be fun."

I may be more physically fit then Grusha, but apparently that isn't all that big of a boon in snowboarding as I thought. His smaller build is more aerodynamic and allows him to actually get a lead on me in the first half. I have to ride a little different, using my leg strength to catapult myself over ramps and using my arms to slingshot myself around trees.
As I get close to him im tempted to just knock him off his board, but that would probably get me disqualified, so I instead start looking for shortcuts in the slope.
I see there is a curve in the slope up ahead and decide to cut it by ramping off the side. Its risky but I don't want to lose to him and trust my strength to keep me safe. Grusha looks at me like im insane and starts yelling at me that its dangerous, but I don't listen.
As I go ramping off the edge I see that the drop is a bit bigger then I thought it was, and there is another curve going the opposite direction at the bottom of it. If Grusha had attempted shit he might have broken a few bones if not worse, but with my strength I brace myself. I hit the ground and feel it in my knees pretty bad, but im able to stay stable as I go down a bit and grab onto a tree near the curve and slingshot myself down the rest of the slope to the finish line.
As I reach the bottom I see Penny near the finish line looking very worried and a little pissed at me.
"That was so damn stupid and you know it! You could have gotten very hurt!" She says, running over to me as soon as im off the board, looking over me to see if im injured.
Grusha finishes the slope a moment later and walks over to us.
"Your one insane lady, that was a dangerous jump you had there, but I gotta give you props for having the strength to pull that off. Go check yourself over in the rest area and let me know when your ready to battle." He slaps me on the back and walks off towards the gym building.
After a bit more fussing Penny takes my hand and leads me into the rest area.
I take the gloves off first and notice that my hands are not looking to great, grabbing the trees to slingshot myself gave me some cuts and some big bruises on my fingers and palm, which makes Penny more worried. Follow that up with some bruising on my knees, thighs, and feet, and she is demanding I rest for the day, get patched up, and just do the battle tomorrow.
Not wanting to make her angry, I agree. Thanks to the herbs I have a higher natural healing, but I go to a medical area and have a nurse patch me up, mostly with ointment and bandages.
After a night's rest my body seems mostly healed up with only some bruising left over, so Penny allows me to go battle Grusha.

Im not worried about this being a difficult battle, with Ruby on my side I doubt it will be much of a challenge.
Grusha still seems smug but doesn't passive aggressively threaten me like he does in the game.
The battle starts and Ruby quickly one-shots his Frosmoth, with the poor ice/bug not even able to get a move off.
While Beartic and Cetitan both take two attacks each, they go down without much trouble, but dealing enough damage to Ruby to have me switch out to Tina to fight his Altaria.
Thanks to Tina's fairy typing, any Dragon type move gets negated, and her Steel type resists Ice moves. It only takes a Gigaton Hammer and Brick Break for the Altaria to go down, Tina barely being hurt.
Grusha reluctantly congratulates me on my win and since im not about to fuck his ass, I just walk off after accepting the badge, Penny taking my hand as we walk off towards the next destination.
