It's Bakugo and Kirishima!

They passed though a set of doors, and into an area overgrown with several forms of plant life. "What's with this area?" Tsuyu asked as they kept going. "Looks pretty nice, ribbit!"

"This is the Greenhouse area of the Reseach Facility! The Researchers here study the effects of Quirks on flora! Actually, they might be interested in Shiozaki's Quirk when this is all over," she remarked.

"I'll consider letting them take a few cell samples if it helps important research," Shiozaki replied. But as they continued to move, the elevator ahead lit up.

"What the? Are they onto us already?" Izuku asked as they came to a stop.

"They might be, but there's no guarantee of that... the elevator is only active, it doesn't mean they're getting off on this floor," Melissa mused.

"All the same, I suggest we hide for now until we're sure we're safe," Iida noted.

"Seconded!" Mineta agreed, and they hurried to find cover. Fortunately, they couldn't have picked a better floor for this: with all the plant life around, there was no shortage of places to hide.

Once they were under cover, they watched the elevator, and froze as the elevator doors opened, and two of the Villains stepped out, talking to each other. "...they're not looking for us..." Kyoka noted in an udertone. "Apparently, there are two people wandering around up here... we haven't been made yet..."

"A couple of researchers who stayed late then?" Ochaco offered.

"Been there!" Mei and Melissa said at the same time before exchanging slightly amused grins.

"That's perfect," Iida sighed in relief. "With any luck, they'll just nab both the researchers without a fuss, and add them to the hostage pool without causing them harm. Then we can keep moving unnoticed.

Izuku bit his lip and nodded. It didn't sit right with him to let two more people get taken hostage, but so long as they were unharmed, the group could prioritize staying under the radar until the security system was reset, and get them rescued with everyone else later. They just had to stay hidden and- "Hey! We see you kids! Come out!" one of the Villains shouted, and Izuku froze, wondering if they had been spotted somehow. While they weren't kids, all of them being 18 and older, they were definitely younger than any seasoned researchers, so who else could those two be talking about? But then... neither of them were looking their way, so a bluff? No, that still didn't adress the "kids" comment.

He then got his answer in the form of Bakugo and Kirishima stepping out from behind a row of the foliage, Bakugo already irritated. "Who the hell are you calling "kids!?"" he demanded, clearly offended. "We're both 18, and in university, assholes!"

"Bakugo and Kirishima? What are those two doing up here?" Izuku asked in an undertone, already mentally panicking. Their plan to just observe and let the ones the Villains were after just get captured unharmed went straight out the window: there was no way in hell Bakugo would go quietly with those two, who were liable to use lethal **** if given a hard enough time. Which... Bakugo definitely would. "...okay, new plan," he whispered frantically to the others. "When those two make their move, we jump them. Hit them hard and fast before they even realize we're here. We got the numbers, we should be able to subdue them quickly." The others nodded, already realizing his train of thought. The time for subterfuge had unfortunately passed.

As the Villains demanded who Bakugo and Kirishima were, and what they were doing up there, Kirishima decided he should handle the talking, which... was probably a smart call, given who he was with. "Whoa, whoa, sorry if we're not supposed to be here, we just got horribly lost looking for the party. I don't suppose you two could point us in the right direction?" he asked, sheepishly.

Mina face palmed. "Seriously, Eijiro? I know your sense of direction without GPS is terrible, but ending up eighty floors above your destination is just ridiculous!" she hissed in an undertone, everyone else sweat dropping in full agreement.
