Eventually, they reached Level 80, but stopped short as they saw a steel barrier up ahead, blocking the way up further. "Damn it, the route's blocked!" Iida cursed.

"Figures," Yanagi stated dryly. "Of course things wouldn't continue to go smoothly..."

"So what do we do? Break through it?" Todoroki suggested. Melissa shook her head at that idea.

"If we do that, we'll set off an alarm for sure..." she denied. "We need to find another way..."

"How about this door then?" Mineta asked, noticing a side door, and reaching up to open it.

"Wait, don't!" Melissa exclaimed, and fortunately, Yanagi was quick enough on the uptake to use her Quirk to yank Mineta back before he could grab the handle.

"You idiot! Are you trying to get us caught!?" Shiozaki hissed, her vine like hair writhing in agitation. Mineta gulped and frantically apologized.

Izuku gave a sigh of relief, before turning to Melissa. "...is that door connected to an alarm?" he asked her.

She considered it for a moment, before admitting, "I don't know for sure... It may send an alert if we open it..."

"...at the same time, it doesn't look like there's another way forward," Kaminari rubbed the back of his head. "What's the play?" he asked Izuku, who mulled over their options.

"... they'll just look at the cameras in this area to see what triggered it, right? We won't trigger any other security measures?" he asked Melissa.

She nodded. "Yes. That is most likely. The cameras also have infrared settings, but I doubt the Villains know how to toggle those settings."

Izuku nodded. "Alright. Everyone, get a hand or some other part of yourself on Tooru. Once we're rendered invisible, Yanagi, use your Quirk to open the door, but not fully, just crack it enough to trigger the alert, but make it appear closed on any security cameras, and keep it cracked. We'll then wait five minutes while invisible. With any luck, they'll write it off as a false alarm, and we'll be able to proceed..."

Everyone nodded, and crowded Tooru, except for Tsuyu and Shiozaki, who extended tongue and hair vine respectively to her. Once everyone had contact with Tooru, and were hidden from view by her Quirk, Yanagi concentrated, pulling on the handle, and ever so slightly cracking the door open.

"What the?" one of the Villains in the control room asked as something pinged. He quickly examined the screen.

"What is it?" one of the others asked, idly smoking a cigarette.

"Someone seems to have opened one of the service doors on the eightieth floor, I'm pulling up the nearby camera feed now," the first one explained.

"Seriously?" the smoker asked with a grunt. "I thought you checked the floors beforehand!"

"...huh, that's odd. I'm not seeing anyone, and it looks like the door's still closed," the first one muttered. "Might just be a false alarm, maybe even something we triggered by mistake when we took control of the system..."

"...I'm still calling Wolfram," the second one stated, grabbing his radio. Once said boss picked up, he explained the situation.

There was a pause, before Wolfram replied, "It probably is just a false alarm, but check all the cameras on the floor just to be safe."

"Copy," the Villain replied, before stowing the radio. "Well, you heard him, get to it."

"Already on it," the first one grunted, pulling up all the feeds for Level 80. "Nope, still nothing... Wait a second," he paused. "...ah damn it, we got two people in the greenhouse area."

"Seriously? Ugh, better send a couple of us to investigate then..." the second replied, calling Wolfram again.

"...alright, that's enough time passed," Izuku nodded, and Tooru dropped her Quirk, and Yanagi pushed the door open the rest of the way, and they resumed their run towards the next set of stairs, hoping that they had successfully evaded detection.
