Off to school

Catarina and Maria were in a fresh change of clothes.

Catarina was in her white and blue dress and earrings. Any commoner would peg her for a noble, though most noble ladies would think of her as a minimalist. She was never the "opulant jewelry and flowery day dress" type. What Catarina never really understood about noble fashion was the lack of underwear, being completely absent of anything between the stockings and garter belt.

Maria went without her revealing maid uniform, and was dressed in a modest pink dress. It had a floral stitching pattern and shining buttons that cost more than any modest commoner salary, having been one of several birthday gifts from Catarina.

When word got out that Catarina's maid Maria possessed light magic, envoys from the Academy of Magic came to offer their personal invite to her alongside Keith and Catarina. Since only noble families possessed magic, it was considered a given that only nobles went to the Academy, so it came as a shock that their Maria was also invited. While she was understandably nervous, her mother, her family, couldn't help but be overjoyed. It was especially nice because this meant that she would get to go with Catarina.
