The Results, surprisingly tied

Barely a minute had passed before Cam snapped his fingers, a sheet of paper appearing in his grasp as he looked over the contents, eyebrows raising as he went.

"Hmm, very interesting." He exclaimed, flicking his wrist as the paper fluttered into the engine, a small tongue of flame consuming it in an instant.

"I realized I forgot to mention something," Cam announced as the girls and Omar fell silent, paying devout attention as the angel stood before them, hands crossed behind his back.

"Typically, the Popularity Poll serves to doll out BP, the currency you'll use while staying at the Harem Hotel. However, the audience is well versed in the standard procedure, so I needn't alter the Poll to accommodate for the lack of information, simply remain aware that these results will carry slightly more weight." Cam said, looking around to make sure everyone was paying attention.

"In 1st place we have Olivia, who took the lead with 40% of the votes. That means she'll receive the lightest of Transformations, as well as 4000 BP." Cam said, Olivia sitting up in surprise.

"Me, I won?" The dark-haired bespectacled office worker declared.

"Don't get too excited, this is only the preliminary Poll after all, but it is a good place to start, now try to hold on to that lead." Cam said, turning back to the other girls as Omar offered a whispered congratulations.

"Now in 2nd place, we have our first tie between Janet and Ashley, who received 20% of the votes each, so they'll get rather normal Transformations plus 2000 BP to start." Cam said to mixed reviews.

"I mean, I'd prefer first place, both because the idea of Transformations seems unpleasant, and having more money is always better. But I don't really know the value, and the audience seems to like me okay so maybe my Transformation won't be too bad." Janet said, a cross between laidback and anxious.

"That sucks, only 20%, I mean good job girl, but I'm the hottest one here so why so little votes?" Ashley decried as Olivia glared at her.

"Well, many shows have proven that busty goth girl beats blonde tease usually." Cam mumbled, although Omar could hear him still, and while he wasn't sure which aesthetic he preferred, he like Oliva more than Ashley so far.

"Moving on, we had a tie for 4th place as well, with Julia and Kat earning 10% of the vote each, with a pittance of 1000 BP. Oh, and more moderate Transformations, I'll be forgiving since this is only the pre-show Transformations, but try to lift those numbers, girls." Cam said as Julia sat quietly, trying to somehow manifest a Transformation that would let her spite the angelic Host.

Kat, on the other hand, was fidgeting like an addict in rehab, which was pretty close to her current situation, being **** into a detox of her cigarettes had left her on edge and very bitchy, which was obviously biting her now in the voting and upcoming Transformations... what a vicious cycle.

"And for those of you who had do basic arithmetic, that means both Ashlyn and Terry received exactly 0% of the votes, earning them 0 BP... but that seems unnecessarily cruel, so have 500 for not whining about it. And as I just told Kat and Julia, I'll tone down the Transformations since we're still early days, but they will be notably more intense than everyone else's, can't let such a poor result go unpunished.

Rather than push the issue, both teens stayed silent, nodding in acceptance as Cam smirked, "And speaking of those Transformations, why don't we move on to the ceremony, and then I'll show you around while we wait?" Omar and the girls couldn't help but think, with the fire backlighting him, Cam certainly carried a psychotic air.
