“Why’re you running away so fast?”
“I just wanna play with you…”
Terran was now looking at Elyrah, as he asked her aloud, “So… Should I NOT fight him?” He then laughed haughtily, as he stepped forward, protecting her from the approaching figure.
That figure then addressed him, “Hello sir…. What’ll it take to acquire this young woman from you?” He asked arrogantly, as he grabbed the sack of gold around his waist.
But Terran simply waited for Elyrah’s response, utterly ignoring the figure before them. “Uhh… Ok Terran, go wil...”
Immediately after she said ok, an instant movement, quicker than the eye could keep up with, a tendril shot forth from the ground, taking the man’s neck in a shockingly strong grip, utterly snapping it with a frightening snap, sending the decapitated head flying away at equally shocking speeds.
Elyrah was shocked, as she witnessed the man being decapitated, as Terran then grabbed her form, lowering them both to the ground, as they simply walked away, uninterrupted, as any other figures present had seen the event happen, and fearing for their lives, they deserted their deceased friend, leaving Terran and Elyrah to depart undisturbed, as the group cowered for their lives.
Then, as Terran had calmed down, he hoisted Elyrah upon his back, before walking a tad faster, as he made his way to an inn, setting her down, and letting her a room set up for them.
And, after a brief deliberation, Terran was grabbed by the arm, before being dragged to one of the rooms, a short glare coming from the innkeeper in jealousy, as he cursed his own misfortune.
After shortly stomping up the stairs, Terran had been dragged to their room, before a key was inserted, and the door opened, as he was pulled into the room.
Then, her shoulders slumped, and she dragged herself over to the bed, as she collapsed onto it, groaning from exhaustion.
Terran then walked over to a wall with a window, as he sat on the ground, closing his eyes, as he focused for a moment.
But then, interrupting his concentration, Elyrah spoke aloud, “Hey Terran… You can come lay on the bed. If you want to…” She said innocently, while blushing away, looking away in an instant.
Terran responded simply, “Oh, it’s fine, I don’t even really need to sleep. And I’d probably just break it.” Terran smiled away, as he simply remained immobile.
Elyrah nearly groaned, finding the bed slightly uncomfortable, and finding herself slightly reminiscent of the firmness of Terran’s clay form, drawing an even more intense blushing fit to overcome her, she rose from the bed, resolving herself to act, as she walked over to him, and simply laying on the ground, setting her head upon his lap.
Terran opened his eyes, shocked at Elyrah’s actions, as he simply looked on at her, “Hmm…” He then closed his eyes once again, as he sent a tendril out the window, found its way to the ground, as it drilled its way down, sending near microscopic level strands to search for clay.
Then, suddenly, Elyrah grabbed Terran by the neck, out of nowhere, as he looked at her straining form inquisitively, as she tried to pull his face to hers, so he chose to loosen his neck, as he lowered his head, curious as to her motive.
But, as he looked at her, she merely pulled his head to touch against hers, as their foreheads were against one another, sheer uninterrupted silence, a moment of peace.
After nearly five minutes sitting peacefully on the ground, Elyrah had fallen asleep, as she snored away, basically curling up into a ball in Terran’s arms, as he sat there patiently, all the while, he’d found a few elusive fragments of clay, nearly a hundred pounds he had sit in waiting in the room, bracing up against the door, reinforcing its integrity.
And then, Terran waited… And waited.
Seven hours later, Elyrah woke up, as she stared at Terran’s face, inert, as it stared back at her, drawing an intense blush to her face.
"Are... Are you awake?"
