Can I still come?"
Time to go.
Terran was shocked. Why would she want to go with him? He had no idea, but it was fine with him. “Sure… I’ll bring you with me… I’m not sure where I’m even going, though.” He admitted bluntly.
Elyrah’s face instantly brightened, as she expressed her gratitude, as well as her thoughts, “I appreciate that, Terran. And, if you don’t know where to go, I know of a significant clay mine in the neighboring kingdom… Should be pretty easy to reach with your skills.”
“Yes… That would work quite well…” Terran had a sudden grin come upon his face, despite his utterly lacking need for a face, as the detail amongst it immediately expanded, showing in somehow exquisite detail how happy this fact made him.
…
A month later, Terran and Elyrah had come upon a small border town, as the two passed by tens of settlements, all in the process of making their way to the mine in question, as they walked by less than a dozen people on the absurdly empty street.
And as they reached a threshold Terran had been searching for, he reached an arm down, laying his palm flat against the dirt, and drilling through and into the ground in search of mineral deposits, drawing tens of pounds of clay to his form, as he extracted every trace amount within his range, leaving him at a modest weight of seven hundred pounds, fully comprised of somehow magically enhanced clay.
And throughout this entire extraction, a hidden figure had begun approaching the duo, walking behind them, around ten feet from them, as he shouted out, “Hey there… What’re ya’ll fine folks doing desecrating my land?” A somewhat arrogant voice called out towards them, drawing their attention.
Elyrah was quick to seek a peaceful resolution, especially after past experiences of Terran’s specifically enhanced anger, so she tried explaining the situation.
But… Did Terran want a peaceful resolution? Ever since he’d discovered the absolute relief that was utterly destroying despicable beings, he didn’t see the need, or have the want to stop.
So, Terran responded first, “I’m extracting the trace amounts of clay in this border town… Do you intend to stop me…?” Terran asked, in a shockingly resounding voice, as he reached a hand towards the man, utterly empty, merely pointing at his face.
Elyrah, clearly aware of the capabilities the clay making up Terran had, wanted nothing more than for conflict to be avoided, so she tried interjecting, but again, she was interrupted.
“Well, I may be an older fella, but make no mistake… I’m no pushover, remember that…” He said calmly, before turning around, trying to walk away.
But then, in an instant, the ground beneath him collapsed, as the older figure leapt out of the collapsing area, looking at Terran angrily, as he readied himself to attack.
Seeing this, Elyrah was utterly dismayed… But Terran? He had an ecstatic grin upon his face, as he sent a tendril of clay to reach the figure, and as he went to dodge, ten others shot forth from the ground, tangling his legs, as the main one continued rocketing towards the man’s chest.
Right as the tendril was about to make contact, his figure disappeared briefly, before showing up beside Terran, sending a monstrous kick to Terran’s skull.
And if Terran had a skull, it would’ve been QUITE devastating… But it merely dented the clay form slightly, as it wrapped around his leg, quickly entangling his entire form, as Terran suddenly withdrew many hundreds of more pounds of clay from beneath the ground, the encapsulated old figure merely contained within a titanic hand’s grasp.
And as Terran held the man within his mighty hand, it shot upwards, through the sky, reaching sixty feet high, as Terran prepared to slam the man full **** into the ground.
As Terran was about to commit another ****, Elyrah rushed to his side, as she called out. “Terran, wait!! Don’t do this! You don’t have to do this…”
As she called this out, Terran looked at her form, as his gaze suddenly clouded over, obfuscating her true self from his sight, as he saw her again…
Who haunted his gaze?
