Chapter 9 by TheTruePenguin TheTruePenguin

Tits?

Julia Campbell, the newest and last addition

The scenery seemed to shift for a while, landscapes rolling by, towns, castles, planets, what looked like jibbering balls of slime, menageries of animals, both mystical and ordinary. Finally, Omar's patience began to reach its end as he called out to the angel still standing by the door.

"Hey, are we there yet... and where are we even going, you never told us!" Omar shouted to the other end of the car, the various light conversations stopping as the angel smiled in that genially unnerving way.

"Nearly, we have one final passenger to retrieve and then we can begin. I'd explain everything, but I'd just end up repeating myself every time someone new joins us, and it would hardly be fair to our final contestant if she had to receive a watered-down version of how the game works, after all one of you little tarts might try to leave some details out to trick her." The angel said, apparently forgetting that as he just said, he hadn't explained anything and so they had no idea what he was talking about.

Just as before, the conversation was cut short as something caught the angel's attention, the door swinging open with **** as he grabbed hold of something, or more than likely someone, and pulled hard.

Unlike when he helped Janet board the train, the newest denizen of the train flew into the room, landing in a tumble with all the aplomb of a bird hitting a glass sheet. Just as quickly, though, she bounced up, a fiery look in her eyes as she yanked her hand away from the angel, glaring at him.

"Let go of me! Who the hell are you, and where's Stef?" She demanded, a shockingly new approach to their host.

"Oh, I'm afraid she's elsewhere. So tell me Julia, how are you, how's your mom, still sleeping around?" The angel asked, pulling the door shut behind him with nary a sound.

"The fuck? Tell me who you are asshole!" Julia demanded a second time as the angel strode past her down the aisle.

"I'm Cam, an angel." Cam introduced himself, finally, by helpfully pointing at his wings and halo that reappeared over his head before being replaced once more by the conductor's cap.

"An angel, great they must have locked me up in a mental hospital, no telling what Stef told them." Julia exclaimed.

"No, you're dead." Janet helpfully commented as the pair approached.

"Dead, no, no way... Stef grabbed me, she was pulling me out when... when..." Julia stuttered, like a gif lagging.

"When you died?" Cam helpfully supplied as he reached the second row of booths.

"No, like Hell I'm dead! Let me out of here you... please just let me go, I don't want to die." Julia seemed to sink into herself as Cam spun on his heels, somehow towering over her as she stumbled backwards, falling into the final booth.

"Unfortunately, my dear sweetling, no one rarely ever does... which is why it's your lucky day. Now that we have everybody, allow me to properly explain why you've brought together. I know some of you will have issues with the idea of competing for the honor of serving our sweet Omar here, so I'll start with what you stand to gain first." Cam said, making sure he had all of their rapt attention.

Many of them looked like they wanted to ask questions, but the intensity in Cam's eyes held them for the moment.

"Whomever wins our little show, will get the honor of coming back to life... alongside Omar here." Cam announced as the train car erupted with sound.

Resurrection?
