Your airship anchors down a distance from the coast. Some have already come to land, such as Snow prior, though now Niki, Eva, and Amara are here as well. They're immediately recognized, and the villagers of Gobiidae celebrate your victory. Nobody died, though some were injured. It isn't anything that can't be bandaged and rested, thankfully, though the moment she notices, Amara is ready.

She starts hurrying over with such excitement that she nearly trips over her own feet. "I will heal! Let me heal!" she calls out.

Captain Zido has it the worst. He managed to defeat the crocodire all by himself. It isn't to say he isn't strong, though that was a mighty beast to fight solo. He's tall, wide, and strong, though not even close to your level. Still, he seems a lot different than the last time you were here. Thankfully, Amara does her thing, and he's bandaged well enough for now.

You pat Amara on the back. "Good job, as always."

She smiles, though strangely. There's colour in her cheeks, and she shivers the moment you hand makes contact. "Th-Thank you."

"You actually seem very thrilled to get in there and start healing people. Surely that's a testament to your golden heart, and nothing more."

"Aha... Of course!" She then clears her throat, runs her fingers back through her way, and glances away bashfully. "Nothing more," she whispers.

The people around you cheer. "Our saviours! Our saviours!" they repeat. As well as, "Thank you for everything!" and "The Hero King came!"

Niki sighs. "Dang. We missed all the action."

Eva shrugs. "That's all right by me. I'm just glad everyone is safe."

As you and the others recover and bask in the sudden festivities of a battle well-fought, Hartmut makes his way over with Tedrick beside him. He does thank you, though it's mostly his son who hurries ahead, exclaiming, "You're so cool, Kyle!" with bright shining eyes.

Lord Ramon eventually makes his way over by his iron cane. "It all happened so fast. We sent a messenger, though if it wasn't for the fact that our enemies came from under the sea, we'd have known so much faster. It's a miracle you came when you did, and from the sky no less. But why the attacked happened, I don't know."

"Neither do I," you say. "There are plenty of monsters out there, and they don't always look how you'd expect. It seems she was able to command some powerful creatures, so she's a cut above most, though she best not come back here anytime soon."

"I don't think she will," says Rabbit's Foot. "Not after that defeat."

"I'll send a message through the Sending Stone, and get someone to watch this place more closely for awhile," you say. "But for now, we need to keep moving. Our destination is far from here, across the Sapphire Sea."

Ramon nods slowly. "Goodbye, and thank you again."

Captain Zido puts a hand on your shoulder. "... I thought long and hard about many things after you last left us," he explains.

"It's all right," you reply after seeing him struggle to find words. "You did great today. If it wasn't for you, people may have died."

"If that lunatic comes back, she'll have to go through me before anyone in Gobiidae perishes."

"Now that's a hero's mentality!" Niki yells from behind.

Rabbit's Foot nods. "I agree."

Meanwhile, Snow stops beside you and bows her head. "I've procured a boat for us to sail out to our main ship. Are we ready to leave?"

"We are," you reply. "But you all take the boat. I'll walk."

"... What?"
