Meriem had been following him with interest all day. She'd noted his attention to Endelion's well-being favorably, but as his anger shattered the altar shock overcame her.

The old priest, however, had poison ready to drop from the finely honed teeth of his hatred. "- Didn't I warn you? Like a wild stallion he rages and damages the holiest of places! I demand his destruction and removal from our lands!"

The Lord of the Snowcaps rose, and walked to the beautiful basin they'd been following Macius' explorations.
"- I will not. We won't bring more **** to this sacred area. However, I agree that we must act. What do you suggest, Meriem, since you defended him before?"
"- I... do not know. What is he doing?" she wondered, looking at the knight who was picking up a rock amongst the rubble. With a hand gesture, she wove a spell so they might listen in.

Macius fell to a knee, holding the rock in his hand.

"- I, Macius, Lord of Tarzis, Knight-Errant, vow to repair what I destroyed in a fit of anger. If the Gods give me life and strength, I shall restore this place to its former glory!"
The knight hesitated, grit his teeth and pursued.
"- I shall bring those of my order who want to settle here and make this place a place of worship, as is fit."
