Diana's heart is elsewhere
The evolving web of relationships grew ever more tangled as Sarah, fully immersed in Diana’s life, found herself pulled in two directions. On one hand, she worked tirelessly to deepen the bond between you and Diana—cultivating moments of intimacy, sharing private jokes, and creating a connection that felt real and enduring. She wanted to ensure that no matter what happened to her own sense of self, you would remain entwined with Diana, preserving your place in this complex new world.
But beneath the surface, something unexpected was blossoming. As Diana, Sarah began to genuinely fall in love with Diana’s boyfriend. Their connection sparked with a passion and familiarity that neither could deny, and soon the idea of marriage—a future once unimaginable—entered their conversations.
Meanwhile, Sarah was caught in a bittersweet balancing act. She pushed herself harder to keep you close, to maintain the secret, charged relationship that bound you to Diana. Yet with every plan Diana made to marry, a shadow of doubt and longing crept into Sarah’s eyes—a reflection of the woman she was becoming and the life she was being drawn toward.
You knew Sarah was slipping away into Diana's life - a life that might have some place for you but not the one you wanted. As Sarah became Diana more fully you could see that she now cared for you. And it was obvious that Diana was attracted to you. But Diana did not love you, at least not in the same way or to the same degree that Sarah did.
You still loved her as much as ever, whether she was Sarah or Diana - but you would not accept being simply a casual lover on the side. That would break you, so it was better to just let her go.

The Ultimate Transplant
Someone you know is given a new body & life
PLEASE ADD CHAPTERS! A close friend or family member is horribly injured in an accident. As they lay dying in the emergency room, another patient dies of a brain aneurysm. Both of them are organ donors, so a surgeon decides it's the perfect opportunity for him to try an experimental surgery. He transplants the victim's higher brain (the cerebellum) to the donor's body in an attempt to 'save' a life. Amazingly it works. But the surgery was not approved so the hospital convinces the families to keep quiet, arguing that revealing this operation to the public would bring never-ending media attention to all involved. That means that the patient will have to publicly assume the identity of the donor. What will this mean to your friends and family? Who else will you tell? Although you will spend a lot of time and effort giving support, how will all this alter your relationship to the patient? And how will he or she adapt to a complete change of body and identity? Many transformation stories focus on the change or victim, so I thought it would be interesting to instead have the POV be someone who sees the change from the outside. Writers feel free to explore a change in age, gender, class or ethnicity - and the repercussions that change would have on the main character (and others).
