A Productive Meeting

“I do,” Brenda told her son. “And, to follow the trend, it is not the best news,” she said with a sigh. “It seems that just because the Nazis are not here, they are gone for good,” she told the group.

“What are you saying, mom?” asked John.

“I’ve been getting a flood of requests for assistance, protection, and information. They all involve the Nazis,” she told them. “They seem to have suddenly burst out of Springfield and have spread across the entire country, causing chaos. I’m not sure how we handle it,” Brenda told her son.

“I have a suggestion,” Sasha told the group. John motioned for her to take the floor. “I’ll send out scouts to every one of Brenda’s requests. They’ll take a look around, determine how important the request is, and report back. We can then go through them and figure out which ones are worth pursuing and which ones can be ignored,” finished Sasha.

“That’s a solid plan,” John said.

“I’m afraid it won’t be that simple,” Brenda told the group. “There are thousands of requests. Even if a fourth of them were worth pursuing, that’s still hundreds of choices. You can’t possibly investigate them all,” she told him.

“That’s also true,” agreed John. “We could make groups, however,” started John. “They can go to a region and look at all the important requests we have. I’ll check the ones that are most urgent or dangerous or could lead to the mysterious dragoon,” John told the group. Mrs. Wentworth drew a smile over her face. It was slow and methodical, but genuine.

“You have become quite the leader, John Newman. I knew you could be something spectacular if pushed. I look forward to seeing you when you hit your apex, young man,” Mrs. Wentworth complimented John. Brenda raised an eyebrow at the other old woman’s words.

“My son has hit his apex, thank you very much!” countered Brenda as she puffed out her cheeks in anger.

“No, Mrs. Newman, he has not,” the magical MILF told her. “He is well on his way, yes, but his apex will change the very world, both mundane and Abyssal. He will be forever known through stories and statues. Legends will be built around him, with many heirs that will carry on his legacy,” Mrs. Wentworth told Brenda. “That is the apex I see. You son as a god among the creatures of this planet,” finished Mrs. Wentworth. There was a long silence as everyone took in what the mystical woman had told them.

“I see...I agree with you,’ Brenda told her. “My son will be the greatest mage the world has ever seen! I just know it!” she told the other woman. Mrs. Wentworth smiled once more.

“Most of the time, I’d tell you that that was just your motherly nature talking. But, not this time. You are right. Your son will be the greatest of us all. All he needs is time to learn and grow stronger. That is why I am here now. I will get you the tools you need, John Newman, but you must learn to use them correctly,” she told him. “Now, I’ll be off to London,” she said as she begun to turn.

“Wait!” interrupted Tanya. “I’d like to go with you, as well. Sasha’s spies have found Vanessa, and I wish to complete my original task,” she told the older woman.

“Still after her, John?” asked Mrs. Wentworth. “Very well. You may come with me. Your powers may be of use to me,” she said as she turned and headed towards the exit.

“I will return with your prize, my lord,” Tanya said as she bowed to him then quickly moved to follow Mrs. Wentworth out the door.

“I look forward to it, Tanya,” John told her before she left. He then turned to Sasha. “Go with my mom and send your scouts. I trust both of your judgments on how to filter them, but make sure to have a pile for possible dragoon locations and possible alliances. The more allies we have, the better our chances,” John told the two women.

“Of course, dear,” Brenda said. “Is there anything else?” she asked. The girls all looked at each other and, one by one, shook their heads no. “Well then, I guess this meeting is adjourned,” she told the group.

“I’ll see you all tomorrow. Idena, come, it’s time for your reward,” he told her in front of everyone.

“Wait, what are you two doing?!” asked Miho, very curious.

“None of our business, sister,” Mikuru told her as she nudged her sister with her elbow.

“Ow! Fine!” she said as she pouted and crossed her arms over her chest.

“Like, I’m a bit jelly,” Sam told Fran. “It’s been a bit since he had fun with us!” she complained.

“Yes, I know. We’ve all been pretty busy. Perhaps we can use this upcoming mission to our advantage,” Fran suggested, as a wicked smile slowly formed across her face.

“I know that smile! You are cooking!” Sam said with excitement, barely containing her feelings for what her superior is planning.

“I shall bless your union tonight, my lord.” Gali told the two as they walked by her. Idena could not help but blush as she passed by.

“I would expect nothing less from my High Priestess,” he told her.

“And I hope she will provide another heir for you, my king,” she replied. John smiled at this while Idena turned new shades of red.

“That’s actually not a half bad idea, Gali,” John said with a smirk on his face.

“W-w-w-what?!” was all Idena could stammer out. Her movement slowed as the intrusive thoughts of bearing her master’s children popped into her head.

“Now, now. Too late to back out,” John said as he used his superior strength to basically pull her along.

“W-wait, master!” Idena begged. “I don’t know if I’m ready to be a mother!” she told him with sincerity in her voice.
