Chapter 4 by Felix_Griff Felix_Griff

What race is your new family and why did you choose their home?

Your old African-American friend’s new house

Perhaps it’s a ridiculous, maybe even a childish idea, but you’re nonetheless ready to see it to fruition. It’s been three long years since you were even proper friends, and yet you still remember those days rather fondly. Jamal Sterling, an African-American boy born the same year as you, was your best friend for most of your childhood. You were on the same sports teams together, you did every group project together, and you spent every weekend and holiday at his house. It came as quite the shock when he told you his family was moving away, since his dad had gotten a better job two towns over, and had saved up enough to buy a way bigger house nearby his new workplace. Being stuck without your best friend for the past three years hasn’t been great, but with the possibilities now at your fingertips… it’ll feel like these past three years were barely a memory.

When most people get kicked out of their parent’s house, they end up couch-surfing at a friend’s place. Why should you be any different? Well… you suppose it’s at least a little different… considering it’ll be your actual house pretty soon, once you convince them that they should obviously sign over ownership of it to you, as a result of your clear superiority.

Getting a nice big swanky house for free and getting to live in it with your old best friend aren’t the only two reasons you’re driving to the Sterling residence however. While Jamal was the one you befriended at first, he isn’t the only member of the Sterling family you know on a first name basis. Jamal’s sisters, Amari and Jada Sterling, were a frequent object of your teenage fantasies while growing up.

Amari Sterling, Jamal’s older sister, is currently 22 and attending the local community college, as far as you’re aware. She was always the wild card of the family. Constantly getting kicked out of school and getting in trouble with her parents. You have frequent memories of her getting grounded and having to sneak out of her window while you were hanging out with Jamal at the old Sterling house. She was even the one to sell you the first weed you ever had as a young high schooler. Her body was already banging long before she and her family moved away, and you can only imagine how she looks now, three years on.

Jada Sterling, Jamal’s twin sister, is surprisingly quite the mystery to you. Even back when the Sterlings lived just a house down from you, Jada was a rare sight to see. She spent most of her time in her room, and even at school it was like she had invisibility powers or something. Jamal once told you that she was actually more sociable usually, but always retreated to her room whenever you were around. It never made much sense to you, and so you never thought much more in to it. Though you were always a little freaked out when you’d randomly catch her creepily staring at you from her window or a crack in her bedroom door. Unsurprisingly, you never got a great look at her body, considering she was always wearing hoodies and sweatpants, but her face was somewhat cute from what you can remember. She looked a lot like Jamal of course, though much more feminine and frail. Perhaps with your newfound abilities she’ll be more willing to let you get a better look, you joke to yourself as you turn down the street.

And even beyond just his sisters… Jamal’s mother was far from past her prime last time you saw her. Mrs. Sterling, the living breathing definition of “big black ass,” was impossible to not stare at whenever she brought you and Jamal snacks or drinks. Her side of the family was originally from the south, and her motherly southern bell accent only made her more captivating to your younger self. She always reminded you of the rather racially charged stereotypes of the happy **** maid from old southern movies… and well, now you can’t help but imagine turning her into exactly that once you arrive.

Though you can’t help but think about whether old Mr. Sterling might have something to say about that idea. Luckily, you’ve already tested your powers thoroughly enough on others to know what his reaction will be. While you seemingly don’t have the power to directly control non-white males, you are still able to make your actions towards non-white women seem normal in the eyes of non-white men, even if that woman happens to be their wife or partner. Mr. Sterling may have always acted nice and polite around you growing up, but you know from Jamal’s stories that his dad could be a real **** to be reckoned with when angry. So it’s good to know in advance that he’s not gonna beat your ass and throw you onto the street once he finds you in bed with his daughters or even his wife.

You almost drool onto your steering wheel as you continue to imagine the possibilities that await you at the Sterling household, but you’re quick to catch yourself. You do your best to remind yourself that this is merely the beginning. You aren’t just going to stop here. There’s a whole world of non-white women out there just waiting to serve your superior package, and these three Sterling women are just the first.

Whatever the case, your attention is soon diverted as you arrive at the street the Sterlings now apparently live on. Driving down and looking at the address numbers, you end up having to drive all the way to the back of the street, which takes longer than expected, before you finally see it.

“Jamal… you… you never told me your dad’s new job was THAT GOOD!” you mutter quietly, while stepping out of your car.

You look up at the new Sterling household… your new household, in all of its glory…
