Outside

The hole they'd been chucked down was more of a pit than a slide, but the one bright side was it was now much brighter. The bound couple landed in with a SPLASH in a large pond as the exited the cave. Neither of them could tell if the water was in any way clean, but given it was downstream of a Naga's bathroom, the odds weren't in their favor.

Nadia was a stronger swimmer, so once she could tell which way was up, she kicked towards the surface. Alice was flailing next to her, so that made things harder, but both girls managed to breach the top of the water and gasp for air. Treading water while handcuffed together was neither easy nor safe, so Nadia made sure to grab onto a rock on the edge of the lake. At least, it seemed by all accounts to be a lake.

"What the hell was that?!" Alice yelled, planting her own free arm on the shore with a wet SLAP. "She drags us through her hovel and dumps us into her shit pit?!"

"Let's just be glad we got out of there." Nadia said, hoping to ease her girlfriend's anger. She pulled herself out of the water, her naked skin glistening in the sunlight. Alice followed suit, letting herself be dragged by her bound wrist. Nadia looked at the wooden shackle and winced. "This might be more of a problem."

Alice shook her wrist, testing the strength of the cuffs. They felt light and flimsy, but when she started to pull on them, they wouldn't budge an inch. Taking a closer look, they didn't seem to be carved wood, but branches that had been fastened into a double-loop shape. Or which had grown into that shape naturally, complete with leaves and flowers still blooming on them.

Nadia clasped Alice's hand. "Come on, let's try to get out of these."
