RWBY, pronounced "Ruby," is an American animated web series that follows four teenage girls - Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long - as they train to become Huntresses at Beacon Academy in the world of Remnant. Remnant is a world where humans and Faunus (humanoids with animal traits) face threats from monstrous creatures called Grimm, and the series explores their journey to protect their world. The series focuses on their teamwork, individual character development, and the overarching conflict with the evil Salem and her followers.
