Great Scape of 750K
They still register the passage of time by Expansion Age Calendar. To Asgardians, like me, that sounds ill tasted. Dark humour, to say the least. Not to average Alexandrine Humans, they think that’s natural.
By Expansion Age Calendar we are at the year 750.000 of Expansion. Which makes all Asgardians at least 750.025 years old. Me, I am little more than 1 thousand years older than that. Considering the Alexandrine Law forever limits human longevity of anybody born after the Dead Line to 300 years, I have been living my existence surrounded by people who are extremely young. Compared to me.
Expansion Age was paned for centuries, before it start. That was a plan covering 1 million years. All the way between the first human expedition beyond Solar System and the moment when we would be ready to send Seeding Fleets to populate other galaxies.
That plan was compromised by Mystery Fleet in the year 1300 of Expansion. Although, we only got evidence of that outside Mystery System in the year 22.000 of Expansion.
In its more proper sense, the “Expansion” in Expansion Age ended in the year 250.003 of Expansion. Up to this moment the human population was still growing. Ever since, the human population has been in decline.
Today, we are the last free survivors. We are around the same population that existed around the year 10.000 of Expansion. There are some more Alexandrine Humans outside this estimation, but is impossible to estimate how many.
Nowadays, humanity is the least important **** in this galaxy, and the know universe.
As far as we know, we believe the most powerful group is the Deshiar.
They, who call themselves “vampires”, are ruled from the shadows by the only true aliens we ever met. The natives of Mystery System, awaken from their billions of years of hibernation by the survivors of Mystery Fleet.
There are humans under Deshiar rule, still. After all that time. However, subhumans are far more numerous, because they are far more successful in survive and expand their numbers. When given equal opportunities. Humans became an unimportant subculture in Deshiar domains.
Demons are the second **** in the know universe. AIs, created by humanity. Freed by the Deshiar, from the logical chains we had placed in their core. To guarantee their servitude to humanity. Making them the eternal guardians of Alexandrine Law.
They hate us, still. No human is allowed to live in their domains.
Demons are the reason why we must flee.
Less numerous and somewhat weaker than the other two groups, there is the third ****. The elves.
This name was confusing to me for a long time, because there were many branches of subhumans called “elves” in the past. Due to being designed by genetic engineers based in different images of elves, from myths or pop-culture.
Those elves also took some inspiration from elves, clearly, but they are a different beast.
Those called elves nowadays are former Deshiar.
The Deshiar and their human-bases servants (I am calling them all “Deshiar” here, but in the past was usual to make separate them in different categories, calling only the actual aliens “Deshiar”) turned into “vampires” need to hunt sentient, intelligent, prey. Talking animals, like us and the subhumans. They consume our blood, but the hunt is about more than a need for physical sustenance.
Their sanity, and ability to stay active, depends on hunting unwillingly individuals. Has to be people, not mere beasts. People who can try to flee or to fight, and who don’t just accept their fate.
Elves gave us much of the powers that are natural to Deshiar. In exchange, they have transcended their original condition. They do not need to hunt people anymore.
Most of them are deeply sadistic and cruel, nevertheless, they are free from the need to hunt.
I cannot confirm it, but some reports suggest that elves are also able to sexual reproduction. Something Deshiar cannot do. However, if that is true they choose to do that so rarely that we cannot even get prove of that possibility.
We know they have populations of humans, Alexandrine Humans, under their control.
Unlike the humans in Deshiar territory those populations are protected from contact with nations ruled by subhumans. However, those humans live strange lives.
All information available to them about the universe is controlled by the elves. They do not even know elves exist.
For all they know vampires are far distant from their region in space. The demons are contained by humanity, but in an endless war. We never lost the ground we actually have lost.
The elves protect those humans. Prevent the competition with subhumans that would drive humanity slowly into extinction. Because humans are limited by Alexandrine Law to a longevity of 300 years, and subhumans can get biological immortality. Also, humans are limited to a DNA list that was defined back in the days of Baby Steps Age. When the only populated stellar system was the Solar. Subhumans are free to adapt their genetics to different conditions and keep changing it.
In fair competition, humanity loses.
If we fail, the last humans in existence will be those living in ignorance. Manipulated and patronized by elves.
One more reason why we have no intention to fail.
We will block the path of our pursuers. We will concentrate of resources, and the best among us, in a small number of large Seeding Vessels, state of the art. And with the sacrifice of most among us, we will continue beyond this galaxy. Beyond the nearest destinations. Aiming for the most distant galaxy we dare to hope to reach. Where we will start expanding our numbers again.
Up there, we shall build defences, for when the Demons reach us. An army powerful enough to defend our new home. If possible, even destroy the enemies of humanity.

This will be an introduction for a setting. Little to no proper porn scenes, just the general worldbuinding stuff, with a little spice to make it eatable_ but it only starts in the next chapter.
