Family changes

After breakfast Mich and Jess retreated to the relative safety of his room. Both got dressed for the day. As Mich buckled on his belt he looked over. Jess was in a relaxed outfit of a long sleeved shirt form fitting pants and a very nice pair of low heeled boots. Over the comfortable clothes was a shoulder harness carrying a large bore revolver with a pouch of reloads balancing it. Her left arm had a decorative bracer that carried a shield projection spell. Her equipment was rounded out by the warhammer on her hip.

All in total the red headed, golden eyed titan of womanhood presented a fashionably dangerous look.

The young couple then went down to discuss their plans for the day.

Arriving in the den they found the moms curled up around Kenith. Saturday was the usual rest day in the Skybolt household and the Gloryblade family was much the same. Also in the room were the Skybolt daughters. The younger women to a one reacted with joy that their unofficial sister was now well on her way to becoming their actual sister.

Growing up the Skybolt and Gloryblade households had spent so much time together they really were more of a single family unit that two separate families. Which made the bomb that was about to land much less jarring than it could have been.

“Everyone” Kenith Skybolt called. Instantly getting everyone’s attention. “Your mothers and I have an announcement. We had a talk with Jason, Kelsey, Veronica, Taby, and Mary last night and decided to move on a plan we all have been working on for the last while. We are going to sell this out houses and move into a new property. Don’t worry the new place is big enough for everyone and nobody is getting kicked out it’s just… well while we were giving you all space last night we all spent some time together and came to the realization that our families really are better when working together. So here is the new property we are buying.”

On the family tv was a house. It was a large ranch style two story with a massive yard front and back. A virtual walkthrough showed a spacious open downstairs and a comfortable upstairs with plenty of rooms for everyone. There was also a large basement level divided into several sub arias.

“Now we won’t be kicking out anyone. However, while everyone is here, we’re going to try and get all our stuff moved. We have the new place purchased and Jason and his family are going to go over so if you want we are going to head over and look at the place in person and talk to the realtor. “

The mention of an in person viewing of the new house triggered a stampede to the vehicles.

Mich and Jess managed to get to his truck and Ellen piled into the back. The rest of his sisters elected to ride together and the parents in his father’s truck. With everyone loaded up the family convoy linked GPS and headed out.
