Launch a campaign against Daynes

Shortly thereafter, you manage to secure the permission of the Holy See for the declaration and not waste any time, and begin the push for the wild lands of the Daynes, bringing out the full might of your kingdom's military. With the whole of your kingdom's might behind you, you arrive at the the Kingdom of Daynland. Fangs turned toward each other, the feuding siblings don't expect you to come to the land. The first that you encounter is an idiot who only know how to charge into battle. You are more than happy to let him lead his men to charge all the way to where your army are waiting. By the time they arrive, they are already tired, letting your army to pick them off one by one with ease.

Your victory causes shock to the rest. But due to some misinformation on your side, your amy is being seen as cowards. This allows you to quickly defeat most of them by playing to that assumption. Along the way, there are some that surrenders to you. Rather than kill them off, you let them live, but with some censures. They may keep their house and some of the lands, but in return, they will join the bulwark of your army to defeat the rest.

You do meet Helga, but by then, she is only another face among those you have to fight. She does offer herself to you in return for you making her the Queen of that Kingdom but you don't really see the merits in doing so, not when your intention is to merge the two countries.

After may months of campaign, you have subdued the northern kingdom and brought peace and stability to the region. Leaving your administrators manage the land and integrate it into your kingdom, you return home.

You arrive just in time to see Sara give birth to your bastard. It is a girl, so at the very least the succession problem is averted. Even though she will never be a heir, the situation that brought about her conception will be kept a secret but nevertheless the most important event in the Kingdom.
