The Green Ring

Cody saw Rosalie bending poor Gloria's ear in the break room. Cody walked in. "Excuse me, Gloria, but can I have a moment with Rosalie?"

"Oh, sure. I have some things to do anyway." Gloria turned her back to Rosalie, mouthed 'thank you,' to Cody, winked and left.

"Rosalie, can you try this ring on?" Cody took out the green ring.

"Um sure, you proposing?"

"No, it's a class project. You wear the ring for a few days and let me know if you receive any compliments on it or if it makes you feel different about yourself."

"Oh, OK sure. You know, when I was growing up in New Mexico, my aunt and uncle made rings and other jewelry out of silver and turqouise. I still have some at home. I'm not a big jewelry wearer, but..."

"Sorry to interrupt," Gloria stuck her head in, "but can you spare Cody? I really need him."

"Oh sure, you two get to work," said Rosalie.

Cody left, and as soon as he and Gloria were out of Rosalie's ear range, they laughed and thanked each other for getting free of "Run-on Rosie."

Cody went into the men's room and spoke into his master ring. "Anytime you speak to an intern, your anus will itch, and the more you talk, the more intense the itching will become. Anytime Cody the intern says your name, you'll play with your boobs and not realize it until he points it out. Anytime Cody the intern says the word 'campaign,' your whip your hair around and loudly say 'ay chihuahua I'm horny and sexy.'"
