Main - The Bathhouse Caper (Female side)
“I am humiliated and shamed. I will never forgive you.” Jeane stated coarsely, looking down at the outfit you put her in. You nodded slowly to her words, staring back with your arms crossed. It was a white apron with a black frilled skirt and white stockings with glossy black heels. You made sure to get one that covered as much skin as possible, so she had sleeves from shoulders to wrists, and also white gloves.
“You do look very cute.”
Jeane narrows her eyes on you. “Thank you.”
Turning your attention to Kara, she seems more uncomfortable to be in more clothes and it does not matter a whole lot what she is wearing. She pulled at her skirt curiously, turning left and right. She was in similar garb, but her own uniform was without sleeves. She looked up.
“I look good, too?”
“You do, yeah.” You nodded.
“No, say it the other way.” She asked.
“You look very cute, too.” You relented. She smiled proudly.
“What about you?” Jeane asked pointedly.
“I’m fine, because I have money and an emblem. Even if it’s provisional, it looks gold. Also, I have ‘servants’ now so no one’s gonna question me. This was the best solution all along, because now no one’ll question you two, either. Beastfolk and any other species… nobody actually cares so long as they see one serving below a human.”
“How degenerate.” Jeane turned up her nose.
“Not a fan of the speciesism?” You asked.
“No… serving under humans. It should be the other way around.”
“I see.” You chuckled to yourself.
“Ready to go see if this’ll work?” They both nodded. The three of you set off to the front of the upscale bathhouse once more. As you approached something caught your eye, triggering you to quickly duck behind a wall. Jeane and Kara went with you. Kara crouched down near your legs like she was ready to pounce and Jeane calmly walked around to stand beside you, out of the way.
“Danger?” Kara asked, on alert.
“Yes.” You nodded gravely.
“What?” Kara looked out at the Bathhouse’s front curiously.
“My stepfather. What the hell is he doing here?” You wondered, peeking out. You became angered to see that he was with someone. You tried to get a closer look, then gritted your teeth angrily.
“Who the hell is that floozy he’s with?”
“Your stepfather is cheating?”
“Seems like it. Look at that slut he’s with…”
“Slut.” Kara repeated with a nod.
Your stepfather, Samead Van Louwes. He was a portly man that had met your mother a few years after your Father and Brother went missing together. Your stepfather was actually quite a handsome man when he met your Mother, Marrien, however over time he grew fatter and more opulent, as if letting himself go. You could tell very clearly that it was affecting your mother. The fatter Sam got, the more time they needed to spend alone ‘working things out’ as she called it. Overall, though, Sam was a good stepfather.
“After all that, that son of a bitch crosses a Kingdom to cheat!?” You seethed.
The woman he was with was the picture of a Teor hooker. She had light brown hair and a plump rear. You could see the bottom of that rear showing due to how short the skirt she wore was. She had stockings all the way up to her thighs, which were wetted… His hand rested on her ass and moved from there, up and down her back. She was wearing a blouse that was tight to her body. It had no covering of her back except straps and likely showed an abundance of cleavage. Her heels were tall and awkward. Unreasonably so. She hung off of your stepfather without an ounce of shame.
“Who is this floozy….” You wondered out loud, squinting to see as she turned enough for you to see.
“Oh.” Your mouth fell open.
“What? What is it? Who’s the floozy?” Kara asked, her tail wagging excitedly behind her.
“That’s uh…’ Your cheeks flushed.
“My Mother.”
“Pfft.” Jeane covered her mouth.
“Floozy.” Kara repeated with a nod.
“That’s my Mother!” You chided, knocking her on the back of the head lightly.
“Ow!” She stared up at you angrily.
You cleared your throat. “No one is allowed to badmouth my family. Especially my Mother.”
Kara grumbled to herself. Jeane continued to snicker. You turned around. “We need to find a new bathhouse.” Suddenly, as you tried to move, they both held you up.
Jeane looked at you assertively. “If you put me in this, then decide to leave because YOU are uncomfortable and a little shamed, then I will find a way to eradicate you down to the smallest particle of dust.”
“That’s a little ****.”
“I’ll be mad.” Kara smiles, obviously just going along with Jeane because she thinks it’s funny. You threw your head back and groaned.
“Fine! But I need a mask. I can’t be seen.”
“Why?”
“I shouldn’t be here. I am… here without permission.” You admitted.
“It’s quite possible, and maybe even likely that they came here because someone gave a hint as to what I was doing.”
“So then why’re they fooling around like a couple a newlyweds?” Kara questioned.
You saw your Mother and Step-Father giggle and exchange playful jabs as they waited their turn outside. Kara’s question dug into your gut.
“Not sure…” As you returned to argue with Jeane she reached up and placed a mask over your face.
“So mysterious.” She mocked.
“I can still tell.” Kara uttered, unimpressed.
“Obviously, you fool. You saw me put it on.”
“Gah! If we have to go to this one, I’m voting for us to not have a bath at all.”
“Okay.” Kara nodded.
“No.” Jeane said firmly.
“You promised.”
You crumpled and gave a short nod. “I did…” You thought for a second and quickly realised things were not working. Your secret that you insisted on keeping would be found sooner or later, and at this point it was leading you into the tricky situation of stepping into a bath with your stepfather of all people.
“Okay. Fine. But I’m going to use the women's bath.”
“Okay.” Kara nodded.
“No.” Jeane said firmly.
“You are a man.”
“I’m not.”
“Pardon?” Jeane craned her head forward scrutinizingly. Kara stood up and sniffed you. For once you endured their scrutiny. You reluctantly grabbed Jeane’s hand and moved it down your pants as she froze up like one of those easily startled goats. Once she felt between your legs, however, she squinted at you.
“The WHOLE time!?”
“Obviously.” You stared back at her.
“Why?” Kara questioned.
“I have reasons.” You shrugged.
“I suppose there is no issue, then.” Jeane offered reluctantly.
“Of course not… Keep in mind, if I had to enter the male bath, you two would be following me.”
“Okay.” Kara nodded. Jeane grimaced.
For the first time in long while you removed your clothes. The excuse for the mask that you wore, which was a rather tacky, white porcelain thing with an Aoian flair to it, was that you were a reclusive noble that did not like to appear in public and be named. Your two servants were evidence of the nobility, along with your wealth, so the bathhouse did not provide any protest. Removing your overly ambiguous clothing revealed, much to Jeane and Kara’s surprise, a slender frame with some tightly wound muscle in the stomach, legs and arms. Though it was underneath a decent quantity of feminine flesh. The baggy armour you wore hid your hips and thighs, and the cuirass was primarily for the chest, though some bindings also helped the illusion. Kara grinned, her hands moving to the bindings in particular. Your eye twitched as she said.
“Lemme help you with that, ‘my lady~’ hehe.” As you were stripped fully bare, you caught Jeane inspecting your body, as if there was still some doubt.
“My Mother might be in there, so I’m not gonna talk at all. Don’t say anything or ask any questions.” The two exchanged an unconvincing look before you that did not instill confidence.
“Whatever, let’s get this over with.”
Stepping into the steamy, long rectangular bath, you found an edge that seemed pretty secluded. As you were testing the water, Kara sat down on the edge and looked down into it, waiting. You stepped in and got down, sighing. Jeane followed soon after and Kara stayed out. You could not see who else was in the bath, but there were others. As you were starting to relax, you thought about taking the mask off, but heard the sound of water being tread, then saw the shapely silhouette of your Mother moving closer. You remembered that she was extremely social. As she sat down nearby with a friendly smile she looked at you in particular.
“Hello, my Lady.” There was an uncomfortable pause after your Mother spoke. You cleared your through, nudging Jeane. The elf reluctantly answered.
“Our Lady does not like speaking.” She informed. You nodded. It was a good, dismissive answer. Then Kara added cheerfully.
“She let us speak in her place!”
“Urk…” You cringed.
The woman shrugged. “Conversation is conversation.” She relaxed into place, no longer planning to move.
“How are you ladies doing this evening?”
“Fine, Ma’am.” Kara responded.
Oh no… You gulped.
Kara and my Mom are the types to get along, I think. That’s not good. If no one puts a muzzle on these women they’ll-
“Please, call me Marrien~ I’m not too haughty to be able to relate to the servant class. In Cheshire we are a bit more friendly to your kind, dear.”
“That’s kind. I’m Kara.”
“What type of business does your Lady do? I have a few ventures that I’m undertaking with my Husband. I’m always on the lookout for more partners.” She winked.
“She winked…” Kara whispered down in your ear.
“...” You took a deep breath.
“Our Lady is not wanting to discuss business, Madame. Our Lady is not wanting to discuss any-”
“What’re you doing here, Ma’am?” Kara asked forwardly.
Marrien chuckled. “It’s actually a rather complicated affair. You see, my Daughter is trying to escape marriage, though I am sure she will say something about wanting to find her Brother and Father.” You seethed quietly as she explained things all wrong. Slowly you sank into the water to try to get away for even a few seconds.
“What’s she look like?”
“Black hair, tight body. Toned… but not garishly toned. She is pretty. Nice little breasts and a cute bottom. Pretty face. We believe that she is going to attempt to become certified and were hoping to catch her, but the guild has so many rules about revealing information.” She sighed, waving her hand dismissively.
Kara leaned forward. “What happened to her Dad and Brother?”
Marrien frowned. You took note of her expression. She was still broken up about it, of course. Though, the last thing you did was accuse her of feeling otherwise. How could you not? Everything about the way she acted in replacing Father, to barely acknowledging that Fin existed… She wanted to stop the searching. It had been so long, she said.
Stupid…
“They were caught in an incursion, though… I know the truth.”
You blinked. What? Sitting up a bit more, you started to pay attention as Marrien continued.
“It wasn’t an accident. John went there because he knew there would be one. He wanted to be in one for his studies. My poor son was an accessory to that. He was special. I don’t want to go into it too much. Just know that if you two, or you, My Lady, see a girl named Fiona you should tell her that her Mother and Father miss her very much.
“Sure thing, Ma’am. Any hints?”
“That’s what we’re looking for.” She sighed.
“Unfortunately we came here for a dual purpose. Boring business stuff you don’t need to worry your head about.” Kara cocked her head to one side. Marrien glanced up.
“But dear, aren’t you going to get in the bath?”
“Don’t need-”
As Kara was speaking you abruptly jumped up like a shark and dragged her in. As the water touched her skin and fur all the hairs stood up and she screeched into the air loudly before seeming to keel over lifelessly due to the shock. You held her and scrubbed her idly, feeling around her curvy body, since you were already close and naked.
Jeane inclined her head. “Thank you for keeping our Lady company, Madame.”
Marrien nodded cordially. “Of course. You have such beautiful skin. May I ask where you are from?”
“No.” Jeane stated.
“O-oh.” Marrien chuckled lightly.
“What is your Daughter’s suitor?” Jeane asked, seeming to want to know for her own purposes, despite your **** stare. She smirked at you.
“Well-” Marrien blushed a bit, seeming fairly proud as she stated.
“-her suitor is none other than the third Prince of Reonglas. Ashur Reon.”
“Could you imagine that? Running away from becoming a princess?” Marrien shook her head and sighed. The comment rubbed Jeane the wrong way, who uttered in return.
“Maybe she wanted to be something other than someone’s ‘princess.’”
Marrien looked over, brow lifting. “Hm? You have strong feelings on the matter?”
Jeane caught your stare and offered a rare nod in acknowledgement. The two of you locked hands briefly under the water and she continued to say.
“Our Lady is highly independent. She could never imagine settling down.” She sneered.
“Especially if it were for a ‘third’ Prince.”
“High standards.” Marrien commented in a surprised tone.
“I won't fault you. I sometimes wonder if I’m being too harsh or controlling… I mean, goodness sake I left the Duke’s house for John, rather than pursuing my own assigned marriage…” She clicked her tongue.
“I’ve held you ladies up too long, and I’m going to get pruny if I stay for much longer. Enjoy.” Marrien climbed out and took her leave.
You shook Kara. “It’s just water.”
She gasped, scratching at you before scurrying out to the side. She shook, trying to get the water off of her. She breathed a sigh of relief.
“It didn’t get through to my base coat… Thank goodness.”
“What’s the issue… You need to get through there to clean it, right?”
“You know how hard this is to dry if it goes that deep!?” she asked, her tail still moving behind her, flicking off water. The fur still looked puffy and the water was sloughing off.
“Thanks for vouching for me, Jeane.”
“No problem.” The girl leaned back and relaxed.
“I understand now. You need to escape a marriage you do not want.”
“No! I don’t care about that at all! I’ll marry a prince. That’s easy. I’m trying to find my Brother and Father.”
“Eh?” Jeane stared at you.
“I’m serious. I’d get married if I knew it’d bring my Brother back.” You insisted.
“What’s your Brother like?” Kara questioned, still trying to dry off.
“I…” You looked down sadly.
“I barely know anymore. We were so young. He was sensitive, nice. The stupid kid wanted to be a Hero. Can you believe that? We were close. Our Father said he was gifted and saw things others didn’t. Fucking bullshit.” She placed a hand over her face.
“Fin. We’re twins, and that means something.”
Kara’s golden eye twitched. “What?”
“Twins. What’s wrong?” You looked up and saw her slumped forward, She was gritting her teeth and baring fangs.
“What about ‘em?”
You felt something was strange, but explained regardless. “There’s a special bond. I feel like I know Fin’s alive. I know Fin’s out there somewhere. I’d know if he was gone… Like, ‘gone’ gone… When you’re like that, you just have something you can’t explain or understand, but it’s there. Sometimes I wake up. I feel like I have dreams of strange, alien places but as I get up all those images fade and I never know what’s real, and what’s just me pr-”
“That’s enough.” Kara said gravely.
“Huh?” Both you and Jeane looked. Kara was seething.
“There’s no connection!” She shouted.
“But-” You tried to argue but she interrupted by saying.
“It’s fake! It’s fake… There’s nothing like that. It’s fake.” She shook her head vehemently. You thought better of pushing her further, no matter how much you wanted to argue. You all sat in silence for the duration of the bath. After enough time passed you broached the next subject.
“I’d like to get Jeane sorted, so that she won't be in danger anymore. We can try to track the Knight down so I can talk about it with her, or we can go through some more official channels in the city. I’m partial to looking for the Knight. I don’t think my intuition’s wrong.”
“I know that a Knight and myself will mix like oil and water. I would sooner wait through the proper channels. Perhaps with an actual advocate I will have better luck.”
“Maybe… Kara, what do you want?”
“Protect.” She said rather seriously, still seeming to be a bit down.
“Thank you, Kara, for your protection.” You said graciously. She looked up, blushed and gave a small smile to show her mood had improved slightly. You nodded a little, then returned to gaze at Jeane.
“I’m fine either way. It’s up to you, since it’s your business…”
